Just got done with sequence 3 and am beginning to see the flaws in the game.
Bits of awesomeness here and there mixed with a lot of pointlessness.

After you start playing with Connor it's straight downhill from there.

The alternate studios created a much stronger character & storyline as a filler in the process as Ezio's trilogy. Connor is nothing compared to Ezio.

The main team should have ended this with Ezio.

Can Boston of that era ever compete with the place like Renaissance Italy.

Yup there were no variations in the kinds of houses. Every house looked the same. Either it was the open hilly country side, or the drab monotonous city. Thats one of the reasons why I hate AC3. 6/10. And I haven't even started the boring parts yet!

Totally agree.The Amerian revolution is a drab and uninspiring place and totally not fit for an AC game.They just wanted to please the Yanks I guess i.e their target audience.

There are so many great historical eras that UBISOFT could have recreated.

The Feudal Japan, the Samurai and stuff. The Chinese Dynasties, The Koreans, even Sub Continent would have been an epic place. Taj Mahal, Lahore, Delhi , Culcutta, Sepoy Rebellion, Elephants. Every ingredient of an epic historical adventure was there.

But in all history, UBSIOFT found the most boring place on earth. American Revolution.:crying:

They choose the time period when cities weren't so much developed so i already knew the cities would be boring and dull, the only great part of AC3 was the frontier. Constantinople, renaissance Italy surpasses AC3 in everyway, it was fun to climb the rooftops back then.

Subcontinental AC would have been brimming with culture and personality. Hiding amongst ladies in burqa, seeing cows roaming around freely, the kiosk owners selling their products, hindu-muslim conflicts, depiction of Ghandi and Jinnah, visiting the Taj Mahal and other Mughal constructions. And all this is off the top of my head.

Thinking of all this makes me excited of a potential subcontinental AC.

i have question is there any way to unlcok naval battle outfit for free roming if yes then how if "NO" then F+++ you ubi for not giving best looking bad ass costume .

Just ended it. The game isn't as bad as all of you are saying. I'm still thinking what happened in the ending. I felt as if, in the start, they tried to make the game as long as possible and then later, they just rushed. The American Revolution just...ended and nobody knows when. Everything disappeared.

Also, hate the Mohawk :/ I can see all your complaints with Connor. He DOES look awesome in the hood, but the rest is...weird. I can't understand him. I don't know how he decides the actions he take, they have no pattern. We knew with Ezio what kind of a dude he is and he made all his decisions like himself.

Connor, well...he's calm in one moment and making weird judgements the next. I don't know what to think. But the game was still awesome to play! I'd give it a 8.5/10. Let's hope they get a better looking ancestor next time. Connor looked good, but only when he's wearing the hood [See my Avatar for reference].

A simple question I thought. Not much of a spoiler, but still I don't get it. If you've played uptill when Connor comes, open the spoiler tag.

Achilles names Connor. And how does Connor know what his father looks like. When he sees the picture in the Manor. He says "Even my father?" and guess what...ACHILLES ISN'T EVEN SURPRISED! That the son of the Templar grand master is here. NO SURPRISE! WHY? This is supposed to be a big revelation.

And when Haytham jumps on Connor, how does he know Connor's name? He never met him and he didn't name him.

And how can Ubi just kill Achilles and Connor doesn't even care or cries. He isn't even thankful to Achilles for training him and he fights him and next time becomes OK with him. How does this work?

Poor writing. It could have been better. Lazy writers.

@Everyone talking about making a game based on Sub-Continent history, yep it has an extremely rich culture! The mughal era, the cold blooded mongols would have been epic. But you know the so called Mullahs here we have would have taken it to a different level.

Glad that Haytham part is over, at first i thought if the game remain like it i might wont play it till the end but now playing as Connor and its cool. Love the Naval Battle really really amazing work, this new approach in the game so cool

You know, I actually wish Haytham was the main assassin. A british Gentleman Assassin would have been epic. I hated Connor's hair. Thank goodness there's a so-called 'hood'.

Finished AC3. Extremely disappointing game. In my opinion, end of sequence 3 was the only epic moment in the entire game. Haytham's part was better than Connor's part.
