This trailer was actually taken directly from a certain part in the current work-in-progress Tekken 8’s story mode, played on PlayStation 5. In other words, all the character models, backgrounds, and effects are the same ones that are used in-game. Although this was captured from the story mode, it is not a pre-rendered movie made for the trailer but rather real-time rendered footage, running at 60 frames per second, similar to how you would experience the game in versus battle modes.

Tekken 8 new gameplay mechanics revealed. Looking up to be an amazing game - definitely in my 'To Buy' list.
Tekken 8 will have new Rage system and Heat mode. It also allows players to switch between Arcade and Special moves.
The game will have five modes.
The Story mode follows the events at the end of Tekken 7 where Kazuya defeated Akuma. It will have 20 chapters, plus additional side stories of each character.
Finishing the Story mode will unlock the Tekken Bowl(ing).
The Arcade mode will have 9 stages with six difficulty levels ranging from very easy to ultra hard. Gamers can also select between 1 and 3 rounds for each stage. You will battle a random character in the first five stages, giant Mokugin in the sixth stage, Jin in the seventh stage, Kazuya in the eight sage, and Devil Kazuya in the final stage.
TagTeam mode is similar to the Arcade mode, but it consists of five stages. Additionally, you will battle against a pair of three characters in the first three stages, two characters in the fourth stage, and Devil Kazuya in the final stage.
The Survival mode involves fighting until the players' health bar depletes.

Comparison of TWO of my favorite fighting games during childhood - Street Fighter and Tekken. The button smashing action on Famicon playing SF and later Tekken on my PS1 are the most memorable memories I have of childhood.
Japanese are indeed the King of Fighters. Both are in my to-buy list.

Tekken should at this point introduce a pakistani character. It would be unfair at this point to not have one
Zafina is probably the nearest to a Pakistani-looking character in Tekken.
Producer Harada said she is Middle Eastern. But he didn't deny the fact that her parents could be expats from Pakistan
Our local prodigy Arsalan Ash (Siddiqui) plays this character in international competitions.
