I did switched to Windows 8, when developer preview was out! :love1 :yay:
i am sick and tired of windows 7 really... xp was my first love but with my hardware i cannot go to xp now... so lets delete windows 7 and go to windows 8....
You can upgrade it and keep the installed softwares and personal files, that you have on Windows 7
it was so hard to make the audio work on it... there are so many programs that do not work properly even with compatibility troubleshooting
This is "PREVIEW" right? It's not for "BETA" testing purpose, once they release "public beta", then you can for sure report bugs and everything related to this particular OS to Microsoft. That's why I said, I'd rather wait for "RTM Build", because I'm limited on bandwidth, other than that I don't wanna go through the hassle of installations, there're plenty more updates to come, it's wastage of time to try "CONSUMER" preview, let other people decide what's good in it and what not.

yeah i got the sound to work just fine... but i cannot get 4:3 ingame for cs1.6 even with no-scaling or aspect ratio options for both gpu or display in the nvidia control panel... any help with that? if i cannot play cs 1.6 on this windows with black bars on the sides then i ain't playing on widescreen and uninstalling the windows

well the issues of sound get resolved... i couldn't however play cs in 4:3 so i uninstalled... will try the retail version again when it comes out...
My Windows 8 Preview Experience
Drivers: It is windows 7 friendly, so no issue with drivers. Nearly, all windows 7 drivers may easily install on it.
Compatibility: Not very good with old OS, win7 softwares works but some are not working, even i used compatibility option. Popular Internet security is not compatible like Kaspersky internet security, that i trust alot. However, They will work after final release.
Performance: Very Very Good, Using less ram, gaming, HD video playback awsome. Also window intalls in around 10 minutes.
Looks and Features: The main addition is Metro (A tiled icons start which is replacement of start menu), Task Manager, New Copy and paste window and u may pause and resume your opertaion as well as u can examine the graph of writing speed of drive during opertaion.
Conclusion: I get the impression that the Windows 8 operating system is a native tablet OS and its being "ported" to desktops. What a completely retarded idea this is. The reason I love PCs is because of their complexity. I do not want my desktop dumbed down to the level of a damn smartphone. Windows 8 will be largely irrelevant to the users of traditional PC.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
