Most I see is people mentioning some games but no reason how it affected their life... remember this is to prove that games have actually helped us in our lives rather than just give us unlimited hours of entertainment

Why is this a surprise to you? If you've been playing games since child hood they definitely influence your life. It just matters by what degree the influence is and if its positive or negative.
Games are highly used by education industry and mental health industry. They have a positive aspect to them but you need to figure that out.
Kids who played ScribbleNaught will remember it as a game that taught them spellings.. So I'm sure you probably have a game or two that you can thank today
Sim City taught me order and organization And also some politics. It taught me more about city planning and politics than Pak Studies ever did.

I believe every politician, Every builder and every civil engineer should be trained through 100 hours of SimCity 4. At least they would have an idea of how city works instead of living in their own bubble.

As i boy i always wanted to join army and was obsessed with guns and bullets . My transition frm plastic waepons to real ones shifted in oblivion. Games like cod taught me how to use them . Their importance their deadliness and their use.

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform.Then they cry that console gaming is dying. -
