big names come with big cost as well, and i mean really very very BIG! :(
It's a sad fact. The cost of first class online education is not affordable for third world countries.

DO NOT go for any university offering very low price degrees online.

There is A LOT OF SCAM online.

I don't know if its related, but considering how expensive education is. about 60lakhs for a 3 years bachelors in a good uni in the US/UK and about 25lakhs in Malaysia. Is a bachelors actually going to pay you back?

I mean professional qualifications cost much less (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA) and they pay you back as hell. For academic degrees, you'd need a masters for a good job so is the expense on a bachelors really worth it?

And this is not to start a discussion, I still have to choose between a Bachelors abroad in Accounting and ACCA and I am unsure about this?

As per my Opinion do Bachelors from Pakistan in ur desired field and get a Masters Degree from Abroad UK/Canada/USA

itll take Years for a Simple Bachelors degree to pay back 60Lakh Rs

Don't think so. TOEFL is just a requirement to show that you're proficient in English. SAT on the other hand is a competitive test which also happens to be MUCH harder.

Apart from the UK, no other country has courses in English at undergraduate level, but if you have time then you can learn those languages. Government unis in Norway and most of Scandinavia are FREE for everyone and some of them are pretty good too, so that's a good option.

About Germany, I was able to locate Jacobs University which happens to be one of the very few that conducts UG level studies exclusively in English (i.e. you don't need to learn German to study there). It also happens to offer a lot of scholarships and financial assistance. It's a pretty new uni (started functioning in 2001), so there aren't an reliable rankings for it yet, but I've read a lot of positive review about it (personally applied there for electrical engineering).
Thanks A Bunch! I am really considering Germany but then Again I still have two years before my bachelors :D

It would be a real great addition to the first page if someone sums up the total cost per year under the respected countries.

^ $8800 = ~9 lakh per year. Add another 10 lakh for living expenses/accommodation and you're easily looking at 20 lakh per year * 4 = 80 lakh for a 4-year degree x_x

that is still pretty much cheap :)
I am thinking of doing my LLM after my LLB from Columbia(US) and it is almost 51000$ and add living expenses...that is indeed a masters degree but still it shows you the fee structure of universities in the US and UK is more expensive than that :)

^ I know other unis are more expensive, but that still doesn't make it cheap.

Oh, and Memorial Uni of Newfoundland isn't in the top 500 unis list, neither in the overall rankings nor in any of the subject-specific lists.

I don't know much about this stuff and im currently doing my O'levels (1st year of 2) but its been my dream to study in germany.

One of my cousins said he could invite me to germany through sponsorship i guess but he didn't get his visa so that plan flopped before it even started.

I want to know if there is a way to go abroad after completing O'levels that would be feasible.

That depends on the university, really. If you go to a university like Nottingham/Monash/UCI then that's how much it's going to cost you. Other universities will cost you 11k tuition fee for the three years, estimated 3k living expense per year. That's around 20k.USD which is about 18lakhs.
Me personally, I'm going to University of Dundee, Malaysia(SEGI) on a 50% Scholarship. Yearly tuition fee is just 2350$ for me. About a 5.5-6k USD total per year. 5lakhs 45 a year, cheaper than lums and cheap as hell, if you ask me. Plus, if you get a 3.7 GPA in your first year, your whole second year is free. Same goes for the second year. :)
Look into University Kaula Lumpur. Their default tuition fee is around 3,000 per year.
I attended the Malaysian university convention held at PC, asked all the relevant questions and got an insight into their fee structure and free programs.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
