As per available reports, a young-man, known as Ibrar and resident of Karachi, intended to sale out his mobile Note-4. He posted the ad on OLX just couple of days before.
A person, later identified as Dil Nawaz, approached him on phone and they decided to meet somewhere on Shahrah-e-Faisal to execute the deal. The buyer, as per initial reports, was a culprit and entered into the deal with ulterior motives.
They met at agreed place and the deal was done @ 30K. The buyer paid in the shape of 2 x prize bonds of 15K each. The seller (Ibrar) noticed that prize bonds look like fake so he demanded cash instead. The culprit immediately moved his car to flee. Ibrar jumped into his car through window glass. He was half in and was hanging half outside the car.
As per confused reports, a police mobile van noticed the activity and they thought someone is being kidnapped. The fired on the car and Ibrar in the backseat was targeted and killed. The culprit who was in the driving seat also got injuries while the said mobile van of police flee from the scene. An other mobile party of police came in, recovered dead body of Ibrar and shifted the injured culprit to Hospital.
Exact story and a clear version yet to come. The available information is not much clear to understand. However, purpose of this post is to spread awareness among all people to be very careful while dealing with unknown people. Always meet at very safe place, at very reasonable timings and keep someone with you to be present with you on the spot.
If 2/3 people comes to your home, let them stand outside. No need to show extraordinary hospitality. Dont let all come inside. Only 1 person at a time be allowed to come in and check the device / hardware whatever you are supposed to sell.
