lots of funny people here who dont know anything about bodybuilding.
First of all let me clear it that almost no-one does 15 reps. Thats for stamina and not strength.
5 reps is not for mass. Its for strength gain + higher muscle density leading to harder muscles not bigger muscles.
8 reps is like strength-size. Its more balanced but the strength gains are slower.
10-12 reps are hypertrophy. More for size and less for strength.
There is no ideal rep number. Depends on what your aiming for. Power lifters do 1-5 reps usually while bodybuilders do in the 7-8+ range.

And diet is more important than the exercise. You should aim to eat atleast 1 gram of protein per pound of lean bodyweight.
And for cutting you should aim for the strength maintenance. So the 5 reps program is ideal.
If you want to increase all your lift numbers the fastest way is the 5 rep (low rep) way.


And any one can have the 'professional body" provided he works out hard enough, long enough and eats a proper diet.

i dont feel like going through the thread.. but how in the world can i gain weight? i eat normal! but still skinny!
if u want to gain weight then eat potates and bananas.. and milk regularly.. :)

I prefer swimming isliye work out k chutya bohat marta ho...
Swimming k lihaz say my body is perfect i consider it...
As my shoulder and wings are good :)

if u want to gain weight eat more than your maintenance calories (doesn't matter what you eat but of course a high protein balanced diet is preferable).
http://www.muscleandstrength.com/tools/bmr-and-daily-calorie-calculator.html this will give you a rough idea of how many calories you need per day.
www.fitday.com not as useful in Pakistan but still good.
