    On the Ptcl self help document under frequent disconnection it says make sure the modem isnt close to any heavy electricity supply, like monitor or speakers. My modem is next to the LED TV for PTCL smart... could that be a reason? :s

    Ive had my 8mb connection for a few months now. It was working fine till about a week ago Ive been facing really frequent disconnections. I had a line man come over and check the lines and the box - all seems to be in order. Also lodged a complaint a few times, it gets fixed for a few hours...
