SUMMARY: TV is the devil! Blah blah blah. Children are screwed watching cartoons. Blah blah blah Mr Rogers invented reality tv but didn't get credit. blah blah blah Farm life sucks/ and Lots of bar graphs to prove we're better off killing our children than to expose them to tv torture.

Looks like any other Media-Communications studies lecture.

TV used to be kiddish back in the day and kids watching it day in day out wasn't a problem.

Playgrounds used to be all metal and wood and kids would play day in day out without a problem.

Visual stimuli in any form, movies, music, tv etc etc through out the 70s,80s and 90s has NOT been a problem.


NOW..

TV is violent, abusive, judgmental, mental and full of crap that defies evolution.

Playgrounds are being "modernized" with plastic because wood and metal are not good for the kids. yea right!

TV, Music, movies etc etc are bent on racism, sexual exploitation, glory and stupidity.


If you think any of the above statements is TRUE, you are WRONG


The kids of the 70s and 80s all grown up, talking jack about how kids these days are getting screwed is just crap.

It took two years for the movie studio to get permission to include the word "Damn" in the last line of "Gone with the wind" because way back it was considered abusive!

Today you can find "how many times fuck was said in a movie" videos on youtube.

and both these things DO NOT make either of the generations worse than the other.
