I faced something similar not too long ago. Had to call the Broadband manager and he got it fixed in like under an hour.

@champion7891! Do what i have mentioned before.
+ Leave the G.DMT ticked, while uncheck all the others.
+ Also enable the "Bitswap" (tick it).
+ Enable the AnnexM and notice if your Upstream goes to 1024 or higher, without affecting your downstream. If it does, disable it again.

Report back with your observations. Your phone line is fine.

so i tried this after I faced a disconnect and my upstream went to 800. upon unchecking all option except G.DMT and Bitswap, the modem obtained a new IP but noise margin is still low as well as the upstream rate. before the disconnect it was 1100ish and noise margin in the 30ish:

i will see how long it lasts before the next disconnect

i have ordered a tp link load balance router from shophive will arrive tommorow - same one as posted by another member ....there were some load blance router which were 15000+ wats the diff in them and cheap models .

Can u send me the link to such a router? Im thinking of going thru the same approach....

Browsing speed is more dependent on the latency(which does not change when you upgrade.)

Hey guys, So I recently upgraded from PTCL 4mbps to 8mbps, but my connection kept dropping and having issues and the PTCLtechnician told me my line isn't good enough for an 8mbps connection. I disagree because I live in Bahria Town Safari 1 in Rawalpindi where nayatel already has fiber so shouldnt PTCL also already have fiber installed? And two of my neighbours have 8mbps. According to threads SNR Margin above 60db is outstanding, but Line Attenuation above 60db is horrible. My attenuation can reach 400-500dB at times, and downstream never goes below 100. Ive had my line checked and linesmen said theres no problem, could there be something else causing this?

OK so now my disconnect problems are getting really ridiculous. I cant stream or browse for more than 5 minutes (in the last hour)

I really think there is an issue in the line :/
