So Ive tried a new modem and a new splitter with both GMDT and ADSL2+ settings. it hasnt changed. Still get random disconnects, SNR is in the 30's moring to afternoon but evening to night it gets into the 10-15 range and the maximum attainable range drops.
Settings:
Couple of Facts:
1) Ive changed all my phone wires from point to modem, as well as the spliter and the modem
2) I had my phone number changed b/c of low line parameters, but my authetication is still based on my old phone number
3) apparently I have been moved to fiber on the back end, but the PTCL guy said that you have been configured to 0-103 on the port and not 8-81 VCI so thats why its been used here
Now another PTCL guy called today and was really dismissive, claiming dynamic IPs are responsible for disconnects and so on and not listening. I was so pissed off that I want to shift away from PTCL - theyve been a PITA for the last month or so but am willing to give a few more days.
Any suggestions????
