its not just the native 4K but the fact that very high quality assets are being utilized too. the sheer clarity and detail in texture work is making the pro ver comparable to OG xbox one lol
i must say XB-O-X is, so far, hitting all the claims and promises. the only game on show floor confirmed not 4K native is quantum break, all others are either fully 4k or hitting 4k on dynamic res. this box is a monster! cant wait to see how the new halo looks and plays on it.

Microsoft discounted the unitimmediately after the S was announced at E3 2016 in order to clear out old stock.
"As is typical for the console industry, we stopped manufacturing the original Xbox One when we introduced Xbox One S," Microsoft said in a statement when asked about the product's end.
This clears the way for the Nov. 7 launch of the Xbox One X, a more powerful edition of the console. The Xbox One S comes in a white case, the Xbox One X in black, and both are slimmer and smaller than the boxy design of the original Xbox One, criticized before it even launched.
Pre-orders for the Xbox One X opened last week, including for a "Project Scorpio" special edition reflecting the new console's development code name.

but i have a PC so doesn't make sense for me , although for ppl who are into 4k console wll love it.

Quantum Break XBX technical showcase, game runs at 1440p with tearing and drops to 27fps in "4K" mode. It also offers a stable 1080p mode. Hopefully they're able to fix this before release.

remedy is working on 2 new projects currently....so I am not sure how many people are still working on making quantum break better
Quantum Break is still one of the most technically impressive games I’ve played this generation. Sound design is completely overlooked here and deserves special praise. Lighting model is unparalleled but it really needs to be played without the upscaling shenanigans to be truly appreciated. Unfortunately, that means locking to 30fps for a stable experience even on high end PCs. Also has the best 3rd person shooter gameplay alongside Andromeda. Would’ve been a great game if it wasn’t bogged down by repetitiveness and the gimmick TV show tie in.

Totally Wrong. The best tech wise were Gears of War 4 and Doom on PC. Nothing can compete with it period.
Haven’t played Gears 4 yet, and while Doom is very impressive, it’s recognized more for its accomplishments for targeting those visuals at base 60fps more than anything else.

Four Xbox 360 games will get visual enhancements on Xbox One X when the new console launches next month, Microsoft announced today. Halo 3, Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and the original Assassin’s Creed will all run at nine times their original pixel count and with expanded color details, starting Nov. 7, thanks to free updates.
Those four Xbox 360 games are already backward compatible on Xbox One, but thanks to a technique known as “the Heutchy Method,” named after the engineer who developed it, they’ll look better than ever on Xbox One X. The method “leverages the power of Xbox One X to let the Xbox 360 emulator present the very best version of the game possible with the existing assets—all without touching the game code,” Microsoft said in an official announcement.

But at the moment, a few days before the system’s public launch, the filter isn’t working properly.
Microsoft introduced new sorting and filtering options for the Xbox One’s My Games & Apps screen in last month’s system update. Xbox One X owners have the ability to hide all games without “Xbox One X Enhanced” updates, which is a very handy option. Microsoft generally does a much better job in the area of transparency than Sony does with the PlayStation 4 Pro, and this is just one element of that.
