Splinter Cell was also a shitty game which gave you game over for being spotted 3 times .. also it wasn't a shooter and didn't even come close to the pacing of RE4.
Best hand to hand combat is in sleeping dogs
Fast pace action is in COD
Best decision making was in mass effect series.
My best series is assassins creed .
This...is perfect. This is something I've been waiting for a long time. Great thinking outside the box! :salute: This was the kind of response I was expecting from you guys. ^_^
Actually there is a game which depends on the choices we make but it's not that much playable. "The Walking Dead". It's the best game I've actually played in years. Currently there are two seasons of it season 1 and season 2 with season 1 having 6 episodes while season 2 having 5 episodes it's the type of game that will drag you into the game itself. It's actually a kind of perfect game but it just needs some action and third person character who you will play with in each season just like the last of us.
The gaming experience will change once the game depends on the choices we make or how we play it and the result of the game will be different for each player.
Exotic locations and beautiful art, branching storylines (with Time travel), engrossing plot, memorable characters, powerful script with the right mixture of humor and seriousness, sandbox gameplay, different gameplay approaches to a single encounter, beautiful music......wait, did I just describe Chrono Trigger?
lol, way to focus on the one thing to drag the point ... doesn't matter which game did it first ... which game ended up revolutionizing it and being hailed as the greatest game of the generation by a lot more sources ?
Different perspectives in a story mode. That is what I want from a perfect game since every event on this earth has 'another story'. The Walking Dead does give you that experience in season one's last episode. The detailed story of the villain is presented but playing it would make it even better. It would put a doubt in the players mind by putting two 'right's in front of him instead of having one right and one wrong.
There is this game coming out, I don't remember the name but it tells you the tale of the victims of war instead of just making you a soldier who has to blast through everything. Stuff like THIS needs to be in the perfect game.
Perhaps playing as Alduin in Skyrim would be interesting :bounce
Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.
Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.
PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.
About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
