Unboxing of my Ichill GTX260 and Asus 500 watt psu

I just compared my warhead gamer bench with baber's 4850 ddr5 and he is getting 48 fps, while i got 42....may be coz he has a better processor with 600 mhz higher clock then mine....

@Fajoo: U posted 3dmark score with 1280 x 800 while in the review of my card i posted it with the resolution of 1280 x 1024, so is there any difference of score at different resolutions or they all are same??

And yup i was also comparing ur card with mine and i got the same thing that u getting lower FPS than me i think ur processor is bottlenecking ur GPU.
Let me chek the benchmark at 3Ghz processor's speed.

yep post the benchmark here instead of ur thread.....about 3d mark 2k6, it gave the default resolution as 1280x800.....

Earlier processor was at 3.6GHz now it's at 3GHz but still just about 2FPS difference

hmm well mine n urs are approximately on the same performance level, however, due to a better cpu, u are getting lead of about 2-3 fps.....Can you run a benchmark for enthusiast settings too at 3 ghz???

I have added Farcry 2 benchies in the first post...

thanx.....nopes that's a bit different version, that one has 216 sps and is a bit better, mine has 192.......rest of the things are almost same....

First of all congratulations on buying that awesome card. I would suggest that you use Everest Ultimate Edition to determine the correct number of SP's. It looks like a GPU-z bug to me.

Well my 4850 just sucks here...cant compare u guys bcoz of low processor....what if i get a p5q-e or -c and overclocked it to 3ghz...will i be able to get that FPS,,,,

Yup the results will definitely improve.

@Fajoo: Bro i don't want to disturb u apart from the temps your GPU doesn't justify it's price tag, i think u should get some good processor from someone just to benchmark and then see it's performance and if the GPU's performance is still the same then u've the time till evening to return the GPU.

You have a BadAxe2 mobo. Why don't you try OC'ing your processor on that.

hmm yar can't do that processor thingy.....and i have already informed them that i m keeping the gpu and time has passed now, but i am pretty much happy.....if ddr5 palit was available, i would definitely have gone with it but it's not available and they are not sure if it will come and when it will come.....

yar due to processor, 3dmark highly depends on processor......if that is low to u, i got 8kish score at stock speed of my processor i.e. 2ghz ......that score is at 3 ghz...

U've got 667Mhz rams may be it's creating the problem 4 u Plus ur processor is also a bit of a problem.

Another guy on this forum bought GTS250 and reviewed it and his results in some benchmarks were even better than mine he was using E7200 at stock.

Who cares, it's only a synthetic benchmark. It's the real world performance that matters.

@Fajoo the card is listed on Czone website and it's stated that the card has 192SP's.

please note that you have a small sized display. Any GPU on that resolution shall perform. This doesnt mean that you should keep the ichill stuff.
Rule of thumb, galaxy misguided. They should return your amount.

get the 4870 1gb version...
u will be much more happy...and ur cpu is heavily bottle necking ur GPU..
u neeed a CPU upgrade more then a GPU upgrade..
dont opt for the normal card!!!
