Transworld just started providing fiber to home services since October 2014. They have been previously only catering the cooperate customers. They are expanding quiet fast too as in 6 months they have almost covered whole phase 6 and are now giving internet to few phase 5 homes too. You must note that phase 6 itself is a huge area spanning from ittehad till shahbaz .

I am currently using 20mbps connection of stormfiber but now shifts to transworld 30mbps package in the same price range i.e. Rs.2999/- exclusive govt. taxes very competitive prices they offer I am residing at phase 5 and next month they will deploy the connection at my place.

finally got the letter at kashmir road near pechs block 2 should i go for it ? i have stormfiber and its treating me pretty well
can some one on transworld ping i3d server for middleeast and reply back because thats the only thing giving me a hard time on stormfiber

Yes it will be. Even if it's not you can give me your information and I will talk to them on your behalf. After the cable fix, first talked to them on behalf of my friend as advised by i3d and got it fixed within a few hours. On storm it's difficult because your wan IP changes every day.

Thought this might be helpful to someone, Transworld is now available in Karachi Admin Society i.e. KAECHS including adjoining areas such as PECHS Block 6, etc. Had them installed a week ago. Service is excellent, absolutely top-notch especially compared to my earlier frequently disconnecting PTCL. Customer service is excellent too, I was given a timeline of 15 days for deployment but they said they'd be looking to install it within 10 days. They were spot on, installed it on the 10th day. I subscribed to the 50MB package. Their offer was to just pay upfront installation fees i.e. Rs. 17k (incl. tax) and you'll get 3 months of free internet, after which the usual subscription fees would apply. However, this offer is now apparently expired.


Another friend at KAECHS Block 1 installed it, subscribed to 30MB package, he's satisfied too. Another friend at PECHS Block 6 installed it, subscribed to 50MB package, but he had some issues regarding the service. He called them and the very next day a guy from technical services was at his doorstep with his laptop to resolve the issues. Hope this level of service and customer support remains intact. Miles ahead compared to the usual support I got from other ISPs.

Don't, NayaTel's ONT is compatible with TES's AFAIK

Mainly for gamers. I mean it took 15 minutes for them to fix my friends prefix to i3d. Took me 2 weeks on FL and the likes of Nayatel and SF still aren't fixed.
