Hi all, i just wanted to ask that my ps3 gets kind of hot after an hour or so, i am kind of new to this, is that normal or is my fan busted or what

It's perfectly normal, this things are built to keep on running for days if need be

Deleting that save and creating a new settings save fixed the problem up nicely. also Meangs that you are not using a save you created - the game has detected you are using someone's game save. You can play on it, but trophies are disabled...

Fixed it had 2 boot it from da XMB i'd always go directly 2 da game from da multiman

My PS3 Wont read Discs , i was playing Blackops and suddenly my PS3 freezed so i turned it of and went away. and then after 5-6 hours or so i turned it on but wont read any of my games. Tried the restoring mehtod but didnt worked. Running on 3.66! Help Please!!!

Hey I wanted to know if I ordered my PS3S from the USA will I be able to play it in Pakistan And will I face an issue with the games because of the region difference? Thanks in advance. 

@afeef buy disk cleaner, may be disk reading problem etc.
@warloard no games in ps3 are not region locked

reset the setting again, to to put on tv and then again to tv, or to hd and change the res. to sd and then put on tv

Question !

I recently went back home and shifted from HD to SDTV...

I reset the video settings using the holding down the power button for 5-6secs to get the video back on the screen...

I'm using the composite cable supplied with the PS3...

Now the problem is that the screen is cut off from sides and in most games the display still is in 16:9 mode :/

Like in Killzone 3, I'm getting a letterbox display instead of the display covering the whole screen and ofcourse the SDTV is 4:3 so I get smaller display and text and black zones above and under the display...

Anyway to tweak the settings and all?
Searched google but with no luck or maybe my parameters were wrong

I did check the video settings under system settings but couldn't find anything there...

Nope :/.YOu must have a hacked console for that :/.And yeah the games run properly :/

Only with hack method, u can play free games otherwise can't. If u want playstation store, then don't hack ur ps3 & yes it does work in Pakistan, u can purchase games by either credit card or playstation network card.

What do you mean by " not region locked ".

It means game is region free than can be played on any region console.
