Okay i get it but 3 more questions
1) if my psn id is banned can a new one be made, and if my ps is banned then will it get dead?
2) linking with these problems cant i even switch on the wifi and browse internet, update games and stuff.
3) finally if i want to play online and stop these jail break methods then how?

I'm no expert on hacked PS3s, have never considered hacking one either but...

1) Your PS3 will get blacklisted, like Beowulf said, and that means you won't be able to play online ever again on that PS3 system. I'm sure that means you can't make another account. I believe they block you from downloading the latest firmware updates and that prevents from you from ever going online on the PSN.

2) I think you'll be able to use the Wi-fi and the PS3's browser but I don't think you'll be able to update games.

3) Once your PS3 is blacklisted, there's probably no way to reverse it. You'd just have to get another PS3. If you HAVEN'T been banned, have a hacked PS3 and wanna go back to the OFW, you're better off asking someone else, I have no idea about it.

Ok so just got my self a PS3 and hooked it up to my Acer h235h 1080p LCD using an HDMI cable.

Most of the games are 720p, but my LCD's native resolution is 1080p. The games run at 1280x720 resolution and it looks just bad, i had seen a friend of mine running it on an HDTV and it looked alot better. I know my LCD won't output the same quality as the HDTV but it should be decent at least.

Can i somehow make the game run at 1080p? i mean the run them upscaled to 1080p?

I heard that the XBOX360 does it by itself but i don't know anything about PS3.

after googling around for a while i found out that i can set the resolutions supported by my lcd in the display settings. But it still picks up 720p every time. If i disable 720p the game starts using 480p :tv:

Can i do something about it or will it stay like this until i get an HDTV or something of that sorts, keeping in mind my LCD performs way better when i am playing games on my PC at 1080p. Its just because of the resolution that makes it look bad

Nasir, Ps3 games are not region locked, so even if you buy a game from usa or canada, it will run fine on the console you purchased from Pakistan. I got mine from Canada, runs all regions' games fine.
