i m facing lots of texture popping issues in gta4 on my jasper even though i have it installed on a hard disk. is it normal?

Try clearing the HDD cache. Could be nothing. Too soon to say its GPU related.

i dont think its a gpu problem as i bought it around 6 months back and have used it 1hr a day at average. i m formating the hard disk, clearing the cache and updating and patch for gta 4 on live then i will c. hope it fixes the problem. btw my hdd is used cud tht b a problem? other games work fine

Try clearing the cache, don't format it since it'll erase all data on the disc. Then update us, btw if you go on LIVE you could end up getting banned.

Benq is the best drive out there. I would suggest getting the lens changed if possible.

oh i got banned. doesnt matter i dont play online but now my xbox gives error when i try to install game on hdd tht it installation isnt supported on this disk. wht do i do?

Umm. Benq is way better than Lite-on, well for me atleast it was.

Well your problem was not very big but now you have ended up banning yourself, formatted your HDD for no reason...As it was said GTA4 does have texture popping problem and there is nothing wrong with the console.
If you are facing this problem with different game disks then you should go for formatting and clearing cache solution.......

Xenon is easier to fix. Benq is easier to flash, has 1.61 out for it, hence no activation disc, reads more brands of DVD-DL than Lite-on and Hitachi.
