Islam never opposes science...
it emphasize on getting edu.
even if science conflicts with islam in some manner then every one should know that science is not full stop.

Being a Muslim you're supposed to ponder, think, question, analyze and study everything instead of proclaiming Jihad every advancement the west made. The so called great Muslim nation all over the world has NOT contributed scientifically for the past 200 years I'd say.

Conflicts?

Back in the day when Neil Armstrong put his step on the moon and the whole world cheered, Mullahs here issued Fatwas against it that the moon landings were a hoax and all zionist lies.

Abdus Salam (not a Muslim but a so called Muslim [Qadyani]) won the Noble Prize for working on Grand Unified Theory.

Another Muslim scientist from Egypt developed a method through which reactions finishing in femto seconds could be identified and tracked ...

So in reality the Muslim community have done their part too. + Most of the astronomical data and work logs were developed by Muslims, though more than 1K years ago, but did their work nonetheless :).

The biggest problem is most muslims don't think that way neither is there enough evidence in Quran to encourage this sort of thinking, AFAIK Islam is about total surrender and obedience to Almighty Allah. You hear you obey, questioning is not encouraged.

questioning is encouraged, but question what? there are thousands of ahadith, thousands of tafseers from authentic aalims... Allah ta'alas attributes are mentioned in the quran and they are well justified by examples in those specific chapters, you just cant say that quran doesnt support this type of thinking or that there is not enough evidence in there.. What we do is that we read quran in arabic, which we obviously dnt understand, learn translations of few surahs and dont bother with the rest and we end up thinking why's this and why's that on our beds when we are trying to sleep...

If Islam was about blind faith only then most of us wouldve been atheists saying "our ancestors believed in such and such blah blah this and that"... The Quran and tha ahadith make perfect sense to me, there are signs and then there is evidence which fuels my faith... What most people do is that they give lame excuses if they are asked questions regarding islamic laws and orders, they should come clean and say my knowledge is limited, i will look up your query and will let you know inshallah.....ive heard countless people saying "it just is !!!", i wasnt satisfied, i looked around a bit and got my answers :)

bhai sahab ! ALL THE basic and appropriate stuff has already been told IN THE HOLY QURAN ! the so called science is just learning of it now :)

now im not bashing science or anything it has helped us alot but u should know where the real knowledge lies...

about that moon landing well to this date ! MANY OF THE AMERICANS even believe that itS FAKE haha ! even if their own ppl believe it and NASA suddenly claiming all data to the moon landing in 1969 suddenly being stolen/lost/burnt/hidden etc lol what more proof do u want :p

ohh heres a conflict for u guys btw :) JUST ONE WORD EVOLUTION....

now im not saying that u shouldn't believe in science at all or something but u shouldn't believe everything it says ! science has led us into the light at times but failed us many times over... though whats in the holy quran is indefinate and its been proven...

can u say the same about science ?

ps: not trying to flame any religous war or anything just speaking my mind....

I don't want any religious arguments going on in this thread.
Else I'll break a speed barrier too. The speed of locking thread.

.. And to this day, he remains an unsung hero in Pakistan solely because of his religious orientation.
Okay, back to the groundbreaking neutrinos now.

BTW, i started Ghost of Tsushima, and it got me hooked within the first couple of minutes. I already know It's gonna be a memorable experience. This is how you make a proper Samurai game. Not that SJW game Ubisoft is making.

That's still higher than it's total play length. A 5 hour campaign for a $50 game is downright scammy.

Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
The cross gen era really made people think 60fps would be a new standard lol

Welp, done with Hellblade 2. Thoroughly disappointed. Such a nothing burger after the unique experience of the first game.

I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

Both PS and Xbox have been a flop this gen as they can barely maintain 30 fps in a lot of AAA games th.

As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
