Problem with the new Reply Box

The problem is, that the some text is lost when you post a long reply. For example, just now, in this thread, I wrote three paragraphs, and when I clicked 'post quick reply' all that was left was the half of the text that I quoted of the previous post ..
I was like WTF .. .. just happened ? ..

As far as I can see you are using an old version of firefox so yes new editor/replybox is not supported by the old version of FF, Chrome and IE.

@Everyone: I know there are some bugs in the replybox but none of them are related to the problems you people posted here so do the following:

1 - Get the latest version of either Firefox, Chrome, Safari or IE (I am not sure about othre browsers as I don't use them)
2 - Clear the cache, history and cookies if you haven't done this already.
3 - Visit the URL: www.pakgamers.com and when it's done loading, hit CTRL+F5

I hope this will solve most of the problems specially these ones:

- No Cursor
- Next word after the link is becoming a hyperlink as well.
- Enter bug
- Long post not getting through etc..

obviously if it's working fine for me on different PCs than it should be working fine for the rest as well.

Just Curious, what is the real benefit of upgrading the replybox? I mean what actually does the new plugin do which old one can't?

Yeah, spam filter needs some tweaking. Your posts are not going anywhere they are in the moderation queue.

This one here occurs all the time i have tried IE, chrome, Firefox and all of them were the latest versions. It only occurs when i post a link and i am using the replybox in WYSIWYG mode. However if i switch to Source mode after hitting the "ENTER" key then it shows me that the [/URL] tag has jumped to the next line. So maybe thats the problem?

The thing is that new textbox plugin is a pain for me. When it loads, I cant see the cursor on it. When I start typing and want to goto next line, instead of getting to next line after pressing enter it shifts the current line down and make a new line up and then I cant shift my cursor up. Sometimes this problems gets that worse that I have to close the post/reply and then do it after sometime. Usually it takes me like 5 6 refresh attempts to finally get the new textbox working. Used it with Chrome,Mozilla 4, Mozilla 3.6(Currently)

Had same problem with me. Upgrading FF worked. Just try it

Please look into this iNF3RNO. This is a really annoying bug.

^ I have a solution to that....
Once you post the link, just type anything you want after that ignoring the first letter which gets hyperlinked...

Once you're finished, click on the "Switch editor to source mode" button, the very first button with A/A...

From there, just remove the first letter from the URL tag and type it outside with the sentence...

Problem solved...

I support both of these.
We need to go to the advanced mode to look up the smileys list, there should be a button present at the quick reply box
where we can open the list directly.

I agree with the spoiler idea,too. On other forums I'v seen it this way. You just need to highlight the content which you want to insert in the spoiler tags, then click on the spoiler button on the reply box, and it's done.
