[SOLVED] HTC ONE pulling the trigger.

OK so guys im about to pull the trigger on HTC ONE but i havnt made a big purchase like this im thinking of getting it from HomeShopping.pk for 62k with HSN 1 year warrenty. Like i said i havent made such a big purchase like this ever the most ive spent was on a 35k Galaxy S2 1 year n 6 months ago so this is a pretty big deal for me. So my concern is this

IS IT WORTH IT- well now my day starts with S2 n ends with S2
i use it to watch Movies and TV shows ALOT ALOT ALOT. second is Music, sound quality on my S2 sucks ass i miss my iPod touch 4g listening to songs on it was phenomenal. Third use Social networking Facebook Viber Whatsapp n texting. Fourth Web surfing and camera n casual games.

i was gonna go with S4 but decided agaisnt it because when i used my frnds S4 in my hands it felt shitty tareen just like my s2 and it was SLOW i know tht many of u guys will say im an idiot n S4 is blazing fast but im sorry i just didnt see it camera opened late switching apps was fast but launching new apps was slow compared to my s2 id say it was faster but not holy shitt this is a Bugatti fast id say just a just marginally faster like 1.5 times faster n as compred to HTC ONE ok i didnt get time to use it extensivly but man it was snappy camera opened up quick and the rest was pretty darn fast eveyrthing was quick but i havnt even it extensively n also my frnds s4 uses atleast 1.2 of the 1.8 gb of ram all the time even when nuthign is running n applying the TW task killer compared to my bros nexus 4 which just uses 0.7-0.8 out of 2 gb so i was impressed by it i knwo HTC one will also use alot but im sure not as much.
SO MY FINAL QUESTION IS IT WORTH IT .....IS IT WORTH 62K N
IS THE PRICE GONNA GO DOWN ANYTIME SOON I CAN WAIT A MONTH
i was thinking of going for the nexus 5 but i was discouraged by its looks compared to htc n after reading THE VERGE review i ahv a bad imrpession plus ill have to wait atleast like 3-4 motnhs for its price to stabilise.
so my qs to users n experinced ppl wat do i do ???

Runs cooler than htc one

Make a wise choice and go for g2

Which is sufficient for my needs with excellent battery
But i think op needs a branded phone

off course htc one is top class phone but you should also look for alternatives not just htc and samsung
other competitors are xperia z1 and z ultra and if u can wait a way cheaper and superb performence phone nexus 5 is coming

if you want to do media then htc one series has no equal... there sound is better than iphones and their front dual speakers are a delight... sense ui is not as much of a source hog as touchwiz and looks way nicer too. Looking for phablet territory? or a smaller phone only?

As an ex HTC One user . I would STRONGLY suggest not to buy it. Although the phone is perfect in a lot of ways but

* Battery life is extremely short ( even on power saving mode it lasted just a day and that too with normal usage , start a casual game and the battery used to die in a few hours) .Don`t even thing about playing an HD game on the phone without the power saving mode only for 20-30 mins
* The phones gets extremely hot ( even on power saving mode )
* It was the slowest charging for me ( ever )

Besides the above things , the phone is perfect camera / the new sense UI / Boom Sound etc

well thts a big let down in the battery part i mean
i use an S2 ryt now n well its battery sucks ...i mean really since i updated to jelly bean its horrible i cant get a whole day it dies out around 4-5 n if wifi is on then itll die within hours like for example 100 bateery open wifi 30 min later its in the 70s and im talking wifi n no use fone is connected to wifi but idle
the biggest things for me are watching movies n music n for movies after seeing my bro nexus 4 i was a sharper bigger screen
i was gonna wait for nexus 5 but i want a new phone before 2014 n well nexus 5 ka koi irada tou nahi lagta jab tak stablize honay ka n another beef i hav with htc one is tht it launched in march or april damn thing is still in 60 i mean what the hell abhi tou thora sasta hojaye my frnd bot an s4 in july for 60 htc one was then at 60 still now is at 60 n well thts a bad thing for me cuz i wanna use thign for atleast the next 1.5-2 yrs n its gnna suck big time if i get a fone for 60k which becomes obselete in 5-6 months ofc it wont become obselete but then its resale value will plumit like crazy when the next gen htc one comes out (idk what it will be called)
so anyway rought estimate when the nexus 5 will stablize into the 40-50s????and also htc one ki price giray gi ya nahi if i wait out nov will there be any change in dec any idea on tht due to HTC one max release??
also Kamran Saeed u said about Z1 well i did like it but sonys software is a let down for me and the screen aint tht great either n its toooo fragile tht glass back for me is a nightmare. So no Z1
n no Pantech either i know they might be good phones but not in my taste ..sorry
if i get some more info on Nexus 5 thtll be awesom

Not everything TheVerge says should be taken seriously. One is a great phone; probably the only phone worth getting running Android after Nexus 5. I would suggest you hold on for a week or so. Nexus 5 will drop in soon and if you are okay with non-expandable storage of 16/32 GB then it'll be a better choice.

-Best audio dual stereo speakers the best i have ever heard on speakers as well as on headphones thx to beats engine
-Awesomeness in low light cam and very rich in features esp zoe mode and that blurring options
-Sense ui is far better than touch wiz imo and u can tweak it via sense 5 toolkit
-Its fast doesn't lag at all never hanged on me
-Most beautiful device on market
Regarding battery easily lasts a day for me with 20 to 30 percent remaining
U can ask anything u need to know
Coming from s2 i would recommend htc bro
