BTW Speaking of Agni's philosophy, I'm really curious about Why Square Enix even bothered to make that Lumnous Engine if they never even planned to use.Even though FF XV is a next gen title now it still only uses lighting from the Luminous engine and the rest is done through Crystal Tools and a game specific engine for gameplay. So WTF? Why pour so many resources and so much time into an engine that you're not even using?

Because the only noteworthy thing to me was Agni herself. Her character design looked good and she was able to summon that flying creature/Dragon. Otherwise, wasn't much a fan of the world expect the visual tech that was showcased in it looked fantastic.

FF XV seems to be the definite FF for me.

I bet that a world that looks like that could have some pretty big and bad ass airships too.

FOr me, one of the biggest charcteristics I associate with FF worlds and settings is that they seamlessly combine Magic and fantastical Mythologies with Science FIction elements and technology.And Agni's philosophy checks all of those boxes.

Did you miss the magic showcased in the FF XV trailer? They are doing exactly what you are saying here and i never saw anything like that in the Agni's Philosophy demo. Where was the science fiction bit in the Agni's Philosophy? Technologically, it looked backward instead of presenting a futuristic look. Heck even in that particular screenshot of the world, i don't see a single flying object. Is it not the future? I understand why you liked Agni(Because of Agni, duh) but not everyone is like that .

I am so tired of seeing a main female protagonist in FF(After FF XIII) that i'd hate to see this trend continue in future FFs. You liked XIII so it is understandable that you find Agni more appealing(Because of Agni )

Is it really necessary for thew sky to choked full of flying cars and airships for th world to be futuristic? The only reason you see so many airships flying around over Lucis in the trailers is because it's under a full scale aerial invasion by a Rival Kingdom.I mean that shot from Agni's philosophy, those buildings are STar Wars level Sci Fi shit.And the magic is already there.

And Yes I do like Agni, she's very pretty but that's true for just about every main FF character, i'm not Gay or anything but I'd totally do noctis If I were :tv:

TBH XV's world actually looks less futuristic than Agni's. How many flying objects can you spot?

And no, i know that you never said that XV sucked or anything like that. I was just talking about your earlier comment where you said that Agni's Philosophy would've made a better FF, after hearing that it was just a demo

But this is really all we have left to talk about now, E3 is over and it's nothing but Hot summer days and boredom from now on barring a few releases Like Killer Is Dead.I hate this time of the year. Definitely looking forward to more in depth looks at TCG and maybe a hint at how open ended the game will be if at all.

We are still discussing it because there is still a lot of stuff worth discussing and more information is pouring now.

I guess Nomura has not dropped the whole 'red eye Sharingan-esque thing'. Noctis character seems interesting and from the looks of it, the game will again be made with a 'set-ceiling' in mind, A la FFXIII. That and if this game takes a romantic turn, I am not wasting a single cent on it. FF Romances are cringe-worthy anyway and so are their paper clip like female leads. If only any writer took pointers from Kojima or POP franchise?
