can you please tell me what download speeds do you usually get? When I called their representative they said the usual speed for the 4mbps connection would be 16 kB/s. Thats truly pathetic.

I couldn't inquire further because they had already jumped me through 3 hoops. The number on the website, when I called, the person gave me another number. When I called that second number he told me to contact Gulshan office number. When I called Gulshan Office, they gave yet another number. All this just to inquire about service
I'll say, don't bother. The speed for months is utter crap and mostly locked at 0.70 mbps...edit: i have a 2 mbps connection.

Which package you have ordered?
Cables already available in your area or new whole deployment?

Thats pretty much what I am getting from my 2MB Wateen these days, 0.5 to 0.9 mbps. During the day it crawls at as low as 0.1 Mbps. I used to get full 2Mbps 24/7 for the last 3.5 years. I just cant tell how angry and frustrated I am.

And I don’t understand why all these fiber to home companies have started in DHA/Clifton only. I'd pay double. Get me the 20mbps link! I am already paying Wateen Rs 3,200 for dial up speeds.

I think even the basic tplink routers have a minimum of 150mbps, which should be enough for 40mbps if it is used with a good wifi adapter that also supports atleast 150mbps of data transfer speed.... 54 mbps = 802.11 g is now obsolete and the minimum standard is 150mbps nowadays..
