What would it look like to see a bigger Dark Souls world, which is also filled with vanilla high resolution textures and effects?

AMAZING!

I hope they deliver. Can't wait for April to arrive. I will get a month's worth of holidays and I bet I will play this game from mid May to first of July non-stop.

I going hollow 'cause of the wait. And what's worse is that retailers here have no clue when the game's gonna arrive. :crying:

Also, the game might leak soon. I don't know if I'll be able to keep myself under control if that happens.

[h=1]It Looks Like Dark Souls II Will Arrive on PC in Late April[/h]

While Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners already know that Dark Souls II will be arriving on consoles in North America on March 11 and in Europe on March 14, PC players who are looking to dance with death might not have too much longer to wait until they can get their hands on the game.

This according to recently-surfaced marketing materials for the Collector's Edition of the game on PC which, as you can see above, clearly indicates a release date of April 25, 2014 in addition to the CE's contents. In an interview with Siliconera that seemed to confirm the PC release though, a spokesperson for publisher Bandai Namco stated that the CE was only for Southeast Asia. Bandai Namco then took to Twitter to address the issue, stating that "We haven't announced a PC release date yet", while also consoling fans of the platform that the company would "have more info to share on that front soon though." Meanwhile, Gamestop has the PC version of the game pinned for an April 30th release here in North America as a digital download.

The level difference is +-10% of hosts current level. It was like that in Dark Souls, and there hasn't really been an announcement as to whether it's changed in Dark Souls II. So expect it to remain the same.

damn... when i got in high lvl around 70 the signs for summoning stopped showing:/ oh well i will just buy it on steam again
What do you mean they stop showing? Every area has its own Soul Level average that the player has to be in order for summons and invasions to work. Maybe you were too high or too low SL for specific areas. If this was recent then this could also just be that certain platforms don't have as much online activity anymore.

Why are you so adamant April 25th can't be the PC release date? Or maybe you have insider information?
It's not that I'm saying April 25th can't be the release date. Just that I was hoping the release date was a bit earlier. Namco denied April 25th as the official date at first, but then said it was the release date. It just seems kind of moronic to do that.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
