Yeh man, there isn't much in term of exclusive for this year. Still excited for these since I want to get them on PS4 since Watch Dogs showed the difference can be big. 2015 and beyond is great in term of PS4.
PS Store has listed the release date of Bloodborne as March 31st, but I doubt it will be the one. So what's your bet on the release date? Can it be earlier? I hope they don't go with exclusive weapons for pre-orders and shit. I really hate that type of crap.
pre-order stuff is from the publisher not developer. Sony might do that or they might not. As for the release date, two of the souls games have released in Q1 of it's year, besides this has been in the development for a while now. Japan does optimizations & graphics at the end of the project compared to the western world so all that remains now is optimization. That's it.

Well good news for you. Miyazaki also disdains pre-order exclusives and DLC weapons. So, don't expect any of those from this game. Also, I can't find where this was said but apparently Yoshida said that the March 31st date is just a generic date. Spring 2015 is the most accurate specific date we have for now.
It seems like Demon's Souls is going on the PS+ IGC again on the 18th of June in celebration of Bloodborne's announcement.

That's good to know. Spring 2015 is also fine for me. The Order: 1886 is confirmed for Feb 20th so it is either March for Bloodborne or earlier, but certainly not Feb because of The Order: 1886.

e3 awards mean jack squat lol. Last year Titanfall swept all the awards, it turned out to an above average shooter that was forgotten with months of it's release.
I was the only one that stood by Destiny & it's about 100x more awesome than titanfall, you'll see.

Well, maybe that's because Titanfall showed a lot of promise at the time, which wasn't realized in the same manner or to the same extent in the final game. Otherwise, a year before that, TLoU grabbed all the top E3 honors.
That trailer. My body wasn't ready. I don't know if I'll be able to take anymore of this, it just keeps growing. It's starting to hurt. My hype, I mean. Miyazaki, never leave us.
I've been watching the trailer non-stop, trying to savor any bit of information I can get out of it.
The atmosphere, the gameplay. It's all so perfect. The people legitimately look plagued with some disease that's mutating them. They don't just look like zombies, if you look closer you start to notice abnormalities in their form. Their arms are either too long or too big, their backs are hunched, some of them are abnormally tall and skinny, and some of them have spikes growing out of them.
There's a sexy as f*ck dash move. Backstepping and rolling is back. You can also weapon block. You can quick swap to the torch, don't need to light and doesn't go out when you swap it for a weapon. You can also light enemies on fire if they're covered in oil. You can jump attack and dual wield. The dual wield combo in the gif has a back dash phase and there's also a charge slashing move shown. Also, poise seems to be completely removed. Seems like you can stagger any enemy with any weapon, just like in Demon's Souls. Wonder if hyper-armor is still around though.
This is some of the best fire effects rendering I've ever seen in a game.

TitanFall was a shooter. When has a shooter, especially a multiplayer only one, ever lived up to the hype? TitanFall was only hyped up because it was constantly being measured up to COD, and being called the COD killer and stuff. People got swept into the hype. It was painfully obvious there wasn't anything really there.
This is different though. There is no hype generator behind this, any hype there is is because of the game itself. No big stage presentation, no multiple booths with hands on demos. Just a single private booth with 30 minutes of hands off gameplay. You only need to see it to understand "why the hype?"
I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform. Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
