Noo Bro you didnt get it, im asking about MCB Debit card which comes with Basic MCB account not MCB lite, ive registered quite multiple times for MCB Lite on my brother's,Father's and my own NIC , no luck getting it their customer support is the worst ive seen in Pakistan even worse than PTCL, the question here im trying to ask is does MCB standard debit card it work online on google Playstore ? Amazon ? etc, i mean does it functions same like MCB lite ? because last week propakistani posted about it working online.

how HBL for online. i have bank al habib already and that doesn't have online debit and now my company says they will only open HBL account for my salary. so is HBL fine or do i need to open another account in some other bank? :crazy:

I've been using MCB's debit card (gold plus) for over 2 weeks now, and I must say I have no issues. The card works without any issue on PlayStore, Steam, Origin, Microsoft Store, and pretty much everywhere Visa cards are accepted. The only issue is that the session activation only lasts 15 days, but it's free to activate unlike UBL, and some other banks. I must say I'm pretty satisfied. I've purchased over 30 games from Steam, and never faced any issue.

I wish to acquire credit card and i have zero experience in this regard. My monthly income is 50k, i am not sure if i will be able to acquire credit card, and if I do, how much max credit can a bank loan me.
Here are my queries.

1) Does anyone have first and experience in getting a credit card with this income?
2) Which is the best all around credit card in dinning shopping and online purchases with dollar conversions and charges similar to or slightly higher than MCB Lite?
3) Is credit card worth it? My usual uses would be, dinning once a week, air travel once every alternate month, shopping every week.

Credit limit is depend on your average balance of account ,you must have relationship with bank for more than six months in order to request for Credit card .
Your initial limit will be 20k according to your monthly salary which you mentioned But it can be increase if your use of credit card is high and your credit history is good enough so you can request for high credit limit .

In which bank you are maintaining your account ?

Good foreign currency conversion rate. More secure as Internet transactions are locked and you can unlock them for specific period of time on call, but they charge 100 Rs.+ tax for every unlock. Works on every website/service. I even bought a $1,000 USD piano from USA with it. Using card earns you points which you can use to get free stuff from their catalog and coupons for various restaurants and outlets.

Standard Chartered Bank:
Credit card: A little higher conversion rate for foreign currency, worked on every site I've used, including Play Store. They offer cashback 1-2% for spending money. Maximum is Rs. 500 per month.
Debit card: I use it a lot because of cashback. I don't think their is any limit on this as the maximum cashback I received in a month was over Rs. 3,000. Also it worked perfectly fine on all websites I used it on. I prefer to use this at local stores too because of cashback.

NIB:
Although, I do have NIB debit card, but I have never used it online because its very very expensive. They charge 3% of online transaction amount which is outrageous.

MCB offers internet session activation for an indefinite time too. I have that on my MCB Lite.
