Don't know about Amazon but with Aliexpress.. it happened to me as well.. i think twice or thrice.. don't worry you will receive your refund in 3-6 working days.

Happened with me on AliExpress too. I had to file on online complaint followed by written complaint sent to Mcb, Karachi. Refund took a month. [emoji34]

So yours was refunded automatically?

Mcb lite users, can we pay qubee bills through mcb lite online ? I have applied for one and was curious to know.

I tried to pay for World of warcraft subscription using the MCb lite card but got an error. However I was still charged 1560 rupees anyway. I contacted Blizzard and told me to ask the bank. I contacted the MCB help line. They told me to wait for 3-4 business days which is annoying because its the weekend.
Any Advice?

Fellow PG'ers i have finalized hbl bank as my primary bank.Now my question is for everyone having hbl accounts.Have you ever had issues in accessing hbl banking online.A lot of people have criticized on facebook that they are unable to access hbl online banking majority of the time throughout the year.I am scared after going through these comments.Will someone shed light here to the truth behind these claims.Do you suffer from such issues OR are the comments on facebook over exaggerated.

I want to apply for hbl world debit mastercard but i am afraid that obtaining this card might require a minimum salary requirement or having certain amount of balance in account.Can anyone having world debit card share his/her experience.I tried to contact hbl but no one is responding on their helpline.

NIB is good for buying stuff online, doesn't work only on Google Play, any reason? I even contacted Google, there was no problem from their side, even the bank gave me clearance, still didn't work.

I am currently planning to open an account, confused, can't choose between HBL, Askari and SCB. Which among these banks can manage government jobs' salaries better? I have also heard that SCB is branchless. Is it true? What's the advantage of a branchless bank?

Help shall be appreciated.

Google has blocked ubl debit cards. So no you cannot use them on google play.

So after being told by SCB that they want a 100k cheque in order to grant me a "standard current account" and then numerous other prerequisites, I have decided to go for MCB as my primary bank; I went straight to the manager and asked him if I'll have to call their helpline and activate session for online purchasing again and again, and to my luck, he said it's just a single time activation. I'm already using MCB Lite, and I'm pleased with how good and fast it works on Steam, and Google Play Store. My main account should be active in a week or so.

But in their website it's mentioned no mininum amount required.

NIB is very underrated, great customer services. Got rejected only on Google Play Store and Origin, other than this never faced an issue in online shopping.

I currently use Alfalah credit card and SCB credit and debit cards for online transactions.

Alfalah:
Good foreign currency conversion rate. More secure as Internet transactions are locked and you can unlock them for specific period of time on call, but they charge 100 Rs.+ tax for every unlock. Works on every website/service. I even bought a $1,000 USD piano from USA with it. Using card earns you points which you can use to get free stuff from their catalog and coupons for various restaurants and outlets.

Standard Chartered Bank:
Credit card: A little higher conversion rate for foreign currency, worked on every site I've used, including Play Store. They offer cashback 1-2% for spending money. Maximum is Rs. 500 per month.
Debit card: I use it a lot because of cashback. I don't think their is any limit on this as the maximum cashback I received in a month was over Rs. 3,000. Also it worked perfectly fine on all websites I used it on. I prefer to use this at local stores too because of cashback.

NIB:
Although, I do have NIB debit card, but I have never used it online because its very very expensive. They charge 3% of online transaction amount which is outrageous.

SCB Debit card doesnt work on Google playstore, though there was a post on Propakistani blog about MCB debit card working online though im not sure and asking MCB debit card holders please try it on google playstore and inform us here.
