I am using "Japan v1.00" and it works perfectly. Playing Okami and Persona 4 at smooth framerate.
i had a knacking to play some wrestling games on pc and now because of this emulator i can do that.

Your build will rock Snake Eater at 4x internal resolution and give smooth 30 FPS I bet. I tried the game on my i3 2100 and it worked decently. If it doesn't work as well as expected, there are some speed hacks present in the emulator that give the illusion of smoothing the gameplay. It works quite well. A 40 FPS game would look like a 60 FPS game with it enabled. So you should definitely give it a try, and also try other emulated games like SoTC, Persona if you haven't played the re-released version of them already.
PCSX2 is very CPU intensive, isn't it? MGS3 runs in slow-mo on my Core 2 duo. The codec segments, cutscenes and audio are absolutely fine though. I've tried tinkering around with the settings but it isn't helping matters.

I have a I5 2500k and games run fine, Except for the Graphical glitches which are sometimes unbearable.
Great so hopefully I won't have issues but what about graphical glitches mentioned by others? Can they be avoided with good enough specs?
Great. Since my rig is high end and a 4K gaming machine will I have issues with graphical issues too or they are just software issues that can't be avoided at all with any hardware?
I have G-Sync as well which smoothens the game play in general in all games so perhaps that'll also come in handy in addition to already implemented features in the emulator?
How high can the resolution go? Any chance of playing them in 4K with full screen?
Damn. Hopefully my rig can handle that as I don't want to buy a ps2 just to play those games.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
