Hey guys,
Where can I buy Protein Powders - preferably Whey protein - within the City?
Any cost estimates would be great too. :)

Naheed. All sorts of protein shakes can be found. The cheapest will cost you around 2000 Rs.. Or visit a good chemist shop.

depends on what kinda protein powder ur looking for. if ur looking for normal "gold standard whey" u can easily get it from a good medicine shop. but if ur looking for high end like ISO pure or protein powders from muscle tech or muscle pharma. ull have to goto GNC. its in zamzama karachi. u can google their address. if u go in the first week of any month, ull get a 10% discount too.

What would you recommend me to buy? Keeping in mind, I started weights about 2.5 months back because I was skinny as hell. 60KG 6Ft. I'm 74KG now but a lot of it was fat because I was desperate to gain weight, probably 3-4 pounds of it is muscle. I have 6 or more meals a day, mostly sausages/patties/eggs.
Advice would be appreciated. :)

protein shakes are beneficial for muscle repairing damaged due to workout. it helps in building muscle and keep lean muscle mass. i dont think protein shakes are good for injury recovery. what kinda injury are u talking about ? if its a gym injury then its probably a torn muscle. better check out with the doc.

u did a "dirty bulk"..not cool.. its gonna take time to cut that amount of fat from your system. and also dude, cut the sausages/patties. and no, u dont get 3-4 pound of muscle that easily :p if it was that easy to gain 3-4 lb of muscle, everyone would be doing a dirty bulk. goto bodybuilding site and check out for yourself how long it takes to gain 3-4lbs of pure muscle.since u just started. id recommend u to go for normal whey standard protein. its normal 14servings box is for 2160Rs. it comes in bigger size too so u can check it out.

there are other forms of protein like casein and hydrolyzed whey protein. but unless ur a pro builder who needs rapid digestion of protein i wont recommend u to go for hydrolyzed one.and your body isnt used to that kinda supplement either. so yea start with normal whey standard one.

Bro bought ON Whey Protein from Imtiaz for ~3500 RS

Thanks to Protein Powder, his deadlifts and Squats have went from 20 KG to 100 to ~120 KG.

All good shops. Time medicos in gulshan, Shazz, Naheed etc. There is a shop in zamzama opp pizza hut I think (Don't remember it's name). and it's full of supliments only.

Dirty as hell :D Well, I didn't really have many protein sources so I turned to whatever I could find. Is there anything in particular I'm looking for though i.e %Protein or %Fat or any specific company? Thanks a lot for your help!

Working out showed the most gains, by far. 6 meals a day as well.
However, I was a popsickle so I didn't really care much about my intake. I used to have about 4 litres of milk a day i.e GOMAD - Gallon of milk a day. Yes, it's really unhealthy but fortunately, didn't end up giving me much of a flab. P.s, GOMAD isn't muscle and fat, it's almost 98% Fat. You can't gain more than 1lb of muscle a month, that too if you have really good genetics.

I was like you (5"11 and 58kgs). Now after 3months of working out and eating right i am 68kgs. My target is 75kgs (according to BMI).

I suggest you eat right. Divide your meals to 6 a day, concentrate. Never sleep on empty stomach. Drink loads of milk and water. Fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, grilled chicken/beef and eggs(whites) are advised. I wouldn't advice you protein shakes just yet, go natural!! For workouts you should focus on mass gaining workouts. Like Squats, deadlift, arnold press and bench press. Limit you workouts to alternate days coz as muscles get rest they grow better!

Last but certainly not the least, stay motivated, its easy the 1st week when morale is off charts, but it declines rapidly- don't let that happen!

The good thing is that you gain the most during your initial few months working out. When you start seeing results, you'll be even more motivated to continue. Just leave your ego at the door and remember it takes time. People called me 'Abuses will lead to bansi hwee aam ki ghutli' once upon a time, it really got to me so I decided to make a change. :)
