What is the PTCL students package?

Hey I;ve heard that there is a PTCL student package which is far cheaper than the other broadband tariffs. Can you explain me what is this basically?

it means the ptcl guys installed those shitty ass cables at your house, i've seen this before. call them up and have them use the proper telephone wires (the kind that go from the pole to your telephone).

I was also facing the same prob. I have a total of 5 phone extensions in my house but there was a prob with one extension only (in fact, it was the phone set) . Whenever a person pick up that phone, my dsl modem starts blinking. I changed that phone set and everything is fine ow

Change your DSL splitter.

the wire that they've connected your router to the main phone line with. They most likely used the crappy wire.

Its probably his splitter...

Dude, check if you've even connected a splitter with the wire or not...If you have then in that case it might be the wire....

it might be the splitter, but i'll say you get both things replaced just in case. When it happened to me i thought it was the splitter as well, but all the ptcl guy did was do the wiring properly, and i've still got the same original splitter.

Well you can. Just register with the registration number and see for yourself if it does happens or not.

yes, if you're not an HEC student, you can register using someone else's information. find a friend, relative or anyone who is in a uni or something .
