hey m sure my activation disk is burned correctly as i have used it many times to play wave 4 games. Is the same activation disk used to play wave 6 games? can i change the wave from 6 to 3 and then burn?

Yup that will be good. You should burn Wave 6 to Wave 3...

My xbox jasper arcade pal is banned from live ( I never play on live anyway ) and it crippled my 250gb hdd, now the update uncripples the hdd, but I am not sure if it really does this. Can you please tell me more info on this, and should I unban it, because I never play on live, but intend to buy kinect.

when i insert the game i get "play dvd" and if i use activation disk i get "open tray"

U can 100%. Make sure the activation disk is good to go

Well HDD corrupted with live ban can by restored and also the update is in order to restore the banned 360's ability to save to the Hard Drive. It doesn't uncripple the HDD.
There is a different procedure to restore your HDD.Here is some tech explanation of it, "The HDD ban label is written in the NAND in the file secdata.bin. NAND has a copy secdata.bin without ban label. Now all you have to do is find that .bin file and force the xbox to read that from HDD" i recommend to get it done from expert rather than opening the HDD by self and destroying it

you should use ABGX...It's much better as compare to other patchers or PPF-O-Matic is also good...

Nope..Still there is a wait..But hackers have already hacked it. Only procedure have to be made official and don't know how much time it will take....

Not scratch less but its good to store media and last long...Its not like cheap Melody disks which stop reading data after few weeks
