The funny thing is that roza seemed to be the easiest out of all the roza's I've kept so far. Allah has a magnificent way of making things easy for you. :wink2:
You're right bro. We were experiencing so much heat in Karachi before Ramzan and we were like, "iss saal rozay bohat mushkil honge" but just from 1st Ramzan, the weather got so much better and we dont even feel a thing.

Wow Chhowni
I had doodh jalebi for Sehri today after a long time. I had almost forgotten that the size of a jalebi increases roughly twice its normal size once it remains immersed in milk for a couple of hours. Good thing I didn't stuff too much of it into the bowl.

Very refreshing and a good alternative to cereals.

Sehri - Boiled eggs (whites) 4, bran bread 2 slices, Honey, Tea etc. Alternate with my fav. dish/Salan roti at times

Aftari - Fixed aftari which is, lotsa rooh-afza & fruit chaat! None of the samosas, pakoras or any of the oily stuff!

This will be a really tough Ramazan for me. Half of it will be spend on my finals. :/

Anyway:

Sehri:
  • Leftovers from an awesome dinner (If we have one that is).
  • Milk.
  • Egg or Malai with paratha.
  • Jam-toast instead of paratha.
  • Water.

Aftari:
  • TONS and TONS of Water and Sharbat
  • Dates, sometimes with malai in them
  • Pakoray
  • Kachurian, occasionally
  • Whatever is cooked for Dinner and is of my liking. Else, eat out. :D

Can we have a thread for images too, or we can share them here; snaps of meals and food that we'll consume in Ramadan.

As for what I'll be consuming,

Sehri: Milkshake, Paratha with dinner leftovers, Nestlé Yogurt (particularly), and water of course.

Iftari: First and foremost, Lemonade and pakoray; tons of 'em. Second, anything eatable that I can find in home.

Yes

Every year we have this thread and you can share whatever you want.
I suggest that we use spoilers for all food pics, since ppl will be visiting this thread while fasting aswell..and the last thing they want to see at 3 pm with scorching heat and deadly humidity is a lemon dripping, ice cube filled glass of rooh afza..
