I am noticing that torrents are being throttled since yesterday. Randomly, it boosts to 300+ (on a 4Mbps), but mostly its almost dead (5-10kbps, that too sometimes).

Getting a lot of disconnections, so I complained. Got a call from exchange and the guy said to fix the wires with the DP box outside my gate?! How unprofessional. He said it'll be too long a journey to send a guy so I should do it myself. WTF.
I don't know shit about telephone wires or how to fix it, because the wires outside are joined together with tape (by the dickhead lineman), the guy on the phone said that because of rain, the wires might have become a bit damp and that's why I have crackling sounds in my landline and an unlimited amount of disconnections.

What should I do? Complain again or try and fix it myself?

You know what I was thinking... Grab someone with knowledge and fix it yourself. At least you'll have the satisfaction. And I'm sure you'll get the mechanism.

Yeah.
Torrents and streams are running incredibly crap (i too have a 4Mbps). At the very least direct HTTP downloads seem to be running at their usual 500+ kbps, which is nice.

Ping issue and disconnection issue is still here for me. Cod and BF4 are lagging and only getting 1-2 bars online.

lol I can't stop laughing at this. Also try complaining to the PTCLCares guy. In fact tell him the whole story.

Looks like I'm the only one who isn't facing any issue atm rofl. Pings are better than ever. Streaming is as always good. Torrenting/ Direct downloading is fine as well. #Jellymuch ? xD

I'm not getting more than 1mbps whether it's direct dloading, torrents or speed test. Ptcl said they would resolve the issue in 12-24 hrs but nothing has happened . Thank God I haven't paid them anything yet and I dont intend to if they don't fix my issue.

Depends. Usually it works fine but when PTCL's being a bit*h it will stutter.

i have 1mbs connection and getting very slow browsing and downloading speed. ping is also very high of about 3k. line parameters are good a/c to op. can anyone help me to resolve this issue. this is my speed test result
