Attack on Titan Part 1.

As a fan of manga and anime i was not expecting much from this film and i was right but makers goes two steps ahead and destroyed things which makes this manga awesome in the first place.
Characters man WHAT THE FUCK eren, mikasa and armin THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT from manga and anime changing should be done but on this scale is atrocious.
Second thing i hated the most is that titans are monsters everyone should be afraid but in film i m watching a guy who is running with an axe and throwing down titans like toys.also a girl with arrows i MEAN REALLY.
only redeeming thing in this film is titans they are good.Fight in the end is also good but ending scene is fucked too i mean that scene is truly great in the manga and anime.

after ending they showed clip from 2nd film and after seeing that too i can safely say that this adaptation failed miserably in my eyes.

4/10.
well i didn't expect much from it either, haven't seen it yet, and by seeing the reviews, dont want to...

I really enjoyed Avengers: Age of Ultron. Much of the first half was cringe-worthy bad but it got better as the movie progressed. Even the visuals seemed improved in the latter half.

Doesn't hold a candle to the first movie tough. The Avengers was too good.

Don't really like marvel movies that much, and i found the first avenger movie boring, but i liked this one. Scarlet Witch Aka Elizabeth Olsen is fucking hot.

I give it a 7.5/10.

Got to watch this yesterday. It is such a great film and receiving a lot of raving reviews from word to mouth.Made on a shoe string budget with a team of 5 people and a laptop for editing. The story is revolves about a homeless kid who works hard to a professional boxer with apparently no financial or government support, goes on to earn a Bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and is later on quickly forgotten as hero.Despite a few obvious flaws, due to financial constraints and a lack of an elaborate crew, this is film is not to be missed and has very heart wrenching moments which nay reduce some of us to tears.
Adnan Sarwar who plays not just plays the titular role of Olympic medalist 'Syed Hussain Shah' but also serves behind the camera as the story writer, background score and the director has done a commendable job.Hats off!

Score: 8/10

One word. BRILLIANT

This is probably the best storyline I have ever seen from bollywood packed with superb acting, attention to detail and with slight but right amount of humor and full of thriller. Actually it will be a large BLOT on this movie if I compare it with bollywood. This is just another level of direction and story writing. And I am very picky when it comes to movies. Last movie I liked that was Indian was Kahaani. MASTERPIECE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

9/10

Avengers Age of Ultron :

loved it don't know why it has so many mixed reviews here , as a marvel fan boy I liked it , I found it way better than first avenger movie which I found mindless with every character being tried to fit in and bang bang boom action only , this one at least has some element of story attached .
Only down fall was lack of good end credits , I was hoping to see Loki in end credits ,love this guy Loki

Cant wait for civil war

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015)

This was a pretty decent action flick. M:I movies have always been a little thin on the story-line because there are so much variations of plot you can have involving rogue agents, double crosses, heists, etc. The variables are the villains and the stunts. This movie does a good job with these variables. Tom Cruise is a real entertainer and even though his public image has suffered a lot since that fateful couch jumping incident, I believe that his work deserves to be judged on its own merit. He hasn't had huge hits lately and has been making too many sci-fis for my liking, but I have always liked his work and still do. He was what you expect him in this role, doing crazy stunts, running a lot, and riding a motorcycle.

Simon Pegg gets a lot of screen-time in this movie and he is always a welcome presence. Jeremy Renner is Hollywood's go to guy for self aware winking I guess and he has the right chops for it. Ving Rhames, good to see an old face back.

The best thing about this one was Rebecca Ferguson. M:I movies always had weak female roles and female actresses were discarded after one movie. That has been one constant factor of this franchise. Well, with Rebecca Ferguson, I hope they make her the staple of this franchise, like Renner or Pegg or hell, even Rhames. She was the dose of strong female character this franchise needed, not just eye-candy, but didn't realize that. She elevated every scene she was in and she could kick some serious ass. I am almost intrigued to watch The White Queen now.

Sean Harris was also a pretty good villain after the disastrous one they had in the last movie. But still, nobody can top Philip Seymour Hoffman's performance. "Where's the Rabbit's Foot, Ethan?"

Half of anticipation caused by this movie was the reason that Jake Gyllenhaal was starring in it. The movie itself wasn't bad either with a few scenes capable enough to trigger adrenaline. However that was it. I couldn't fathom why would they leave characters in the middle with a lot of stuff unanswered. I am sure the crew wouldn't be looking for a sequel but the story seemed to floating in two different directions. It tried to be about a father daughter relation at one end and suddenly all was forgotten with a twist that didn't even matter after a couple of shots. Couldn't fathom the reason behind a story that was so omni-directional that till the end it became an enigma what it really focused.
Would be so wrong if I say that actors were wasted. The most astonishing fact is, Rachel McAdams seem to have passed the pinnacle of her career and now she is only good for side characters or the ones who do not matter in a movie. The fights were the only thing that could have saved the movie and it even failed in that department. There was a lot of improvement that could be brought to the fights. If it performed badly, at least Jake wouldn't be the one to be blamed.
My score, 5/10.

San Andreas

San Andreas is a disaster movie about a series of massive earthquakes getting triggered due to the San Andreas fault in California and a rescue pilot's quest to find his daughter amidst the chaos.

Now, this had all the elements of your typical big budget disaster movie. And since I'm a sucker for such films (Loved them since childhood), I had a really good time with it.

The disaster/destruction scenes were great. Loved them. There were a couple really WOW moments like the Tsunami. And the accompanying soundtrack was good enough to enhance the scenes with feeling of awe and wonder at nature's power at display it. And I'm glad that atleast during disaster scenes, the movie didn't add jokes to ruin the moment (I'm looking at you 2012). The Golden Bridge gets destroyed in a grand fashion yet again, probably the most destroyed landmark in film history. The CGI was mostly top notch. The part where it was the weakest was surprisingly the first scene with the car crash, it looked really fake there.

As far as characters and drama goes, there is always the cheesy/lame family drama and the scientists/government trying to figure it out/makes sense of it part out in these movies. The family drama is almost never good and it was the same here. It was often cheesy/corny and lame and was filled with impossible escape sequences, which is the norm in disaster films. I did like The Rock in his role and as a bonus, we got Alexandra Daddario as his daughter (DEM EYES!!). Also, I liked that the person(s) to be rescued, in this case the daughter, wasn't your typical useless damsel in distress situation. It was refreshing to see her taking the charge in survival and stuff.

The scientists/Government (No government stuff this time) part in these movies is something I always enjoy. Even if the science is wrong, and it is wrong most of the times, I don't care for that. I just like seeing people trying to figure it out or trying to do something about it and also seeing the fear in them when something big is coming. Plus, here, we got Paul Giamatti as the lead scientist and he was pretty good.

All in all, I enjoyed San Andreas. Disaster movies are VERY rare and I love them. Wish there were more of them. Watch it if you wanna see some cool destruction and know what you're getting into.

Minions

Just like we got Penguins of Madagascar after the fame of the penguins grew from there small bits in Madagascar movies, in the same fashion we got this 'Minions' movie. I knew this was targeted for kids mostly but since I liked the two Despicable me movies and loved the bits with minions in it, I thought I'd atleast had some fun with the movie. I was wrong.

There was little to no fun to be had in the ENTIRE movie. I was really bored. My face was literally like this: (-_-). The only thing that I can say I liked was the starting scene with minions throughout the ages and the last scene with Gru. Besides that, the whole movie was just filled with humor and jokes that didn't land and plot that didn't interest me.

Nothing more than a cash grab owing to the minions increase in popularity and seeing how it made over ONE FRIGGIN BILLION DOLLARS worldwide, I guess they succeeded at that. Minions were great in little doses in the Despicable me movies but when you have the whole movie focused on them, it doesn't work.
