Wow Chhowni
For a second I thought you were talking about Infernal Affairs and I was about to lose my mind. Then I saw that it was Internal Affairs and I breathed a sigh of relief. :D
Hehehehe :D You know on second thought, I believe Richard Gere and Andy Garcia acted quite well. It's just that the rest of the movie stank of a huge pile of dung.

THE WOLF OF WALL STREET (2013)

~ "You be ferocious. You be relentless. You be telephone fucking terrorists."

And them dudes did do some suicidal thingies. Stock market has never been presented in such a visceral and mind boggling way. The art of mugging (dumb) people for their money, with style. The abuse of hookers, sex, drugs and alcohol was disgusting, and downright morally corrupt. Reasonable Lesson, though. "Deal with all your problems, by becoming Rich". I wonder how to deal with the 'being-rich' problem? Hm.

Jonah Hill should get a f*cking medal for acting out so loud. Now i know why everyone was so content about DiCaprio getting an Oscar for this. In my opinion, playing a rich guy doesn't get anyone anywhere infront of 'The Academy'. But the boundaries this guy has crossed, shouldn't get any less than an Oscar. Absolutely terrifying 'rich-guy' experience. A round of applause for, when 'the lemons kicked in' -_- Margot Robbie as the sexy hot wife, was too hot to explain in words.

I delayed this movie for like 2 years straight, just so i could watch it in one go. And when i finally did watch it, i feel bad for dragging it so long. Some brilliance The Wolf of Wall Street is. 8/10 Turn off your brain, and don't think about it much. Just enjoy it.

A Walk Among The Tombstones

Liam Neeson plays a private detective who gets involved in catching a psycho duo.

It was refreshing to see Liam Neeson play something different from his usual full on action hero. And I liked him in this movie. There was this subplot of him and this kid, which developed into a sort of Mentor-student relationship, and I liked that.

The movie however was a little too slow for my taste. I mean I don't mind slow movies as long as they keep you hooked to the plot. This somewhat failed to create proper tension and suspense and because of that you end up feeling the film is dragging on instead of captivating you into the plot.

Run All Night

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I was of the opinion that this will be your usual run of the mill action movie but it was infact more drama than action, and I liked that.

The movie is about a guy working for his best friend, a mob boss, and must decide where his loyalties lie after a series of events puts his son on his friend's bad side.

Liam Neeson did a good job of portraying a father whose beaten down by life, filled with regret and his past sins weighing in him. You feel for him and the condition he is in. Ed Harris plays the Mob boss, who was also good in his role. And these two had good interaction with each other, like you can see that had a proper history and are close. Almost everyone was good in this film.

There were a lot of subplots in the movie but instead of getting lost in them completely, it executed them fairly well and gave the most amount of time to the main thing, the father and his son. The resentment of Liam neeson's son towards him and their slow development while he tries to save him was handled very well. The pacing of the film did stumbled at times but mostly it was consistent. There were two scenes that reminded me of the classic film 'Heat', like it was paying a homage to it or something and both were great.

The action scenes were pretty decent, except for the chase scene, which just had too many cuts.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation

Being the FIFTH part of a franchise, initially I had some doubts about this film. But after seeing the good reception it got, my hopes were up and rightfully so.

Rogue Nation continues off from where Ghost Protocol left, with Ethan Hunt getting a new mission to take down the rogue spy agency called the Syndicate. Tom Cruise is well, Tom Cruise. He was awesome yet again. The one that was surprisingly great was the female lead, Rebecca Ferguson. She acted great, she was sexy, she was lethal and she was a total badass. Best MI girl to date. Her chemistry with Tom Cruise was also great and it is one of those VERY rare times where I ACTUALLY liked the romance/lovey dovey subplot. Movie handled it very well. It wasn't prolonged or anything, it wasn't cheesy or cliched or typical, it was just right.

The supporting cast was also great. Simon Pegg's character once again showed how to handle comic relief properly in a movie. He was funny, he was awesome and he wasn't just there to make us laugh. I was disappointed that in Ghost Protocol, Ving Rhames only had a small cameo but gladly he returns here properly. I always loved his character and this time it was no different. Jeremy Renner also returns, and gets a less action role, but is still great. The team dynamic, one of the best things about this series, was strong as ever in this part.

This franchise, however, always struggled with its villain and it happened yet again this time. He wasn't bad or anything, but I just felt like the mysterious and a match for Ethan hunt feel they were going for/hoping for didn't work for me. And the his voice definitely didn't help. Philip Seymour Hoffman (R.I.P) in MI3 remains the best villain.

Now, the movie felt like a perfect mixture of two of my favourite Mission Impossible films, first part and Ghost protocol. It had the humor, action and epic feeling of MI4 and the more focus on espionage and mystery of the MI1. The action scenes were awesome. The break-in scenes were tense and gripping. The hand to hand combat had impact and were well handled. And the stunt work was amazing. No MI movie is complete without at least one scene containing cruise in some crazy stunt and this was no exception. He hung on the outside of a plane while it took off, and the dude is in his 50s, I mean WOW.

The humor was well handled here, just like it was in Ghost Protocol. They didn't overuse it or mistimed it. Some of it was just too good. I laughed out loud a time or two.
Spoiler: show
That four-wheeler joke banter between Jeremy and Ving in the chase scene was priceless. I literally LOLed there.

Overall, this might very well be my favourite MI film so far. One of the best film of this year. A MUST WATCH!!

Great. I hope you like it as much as I did. :)
Loved it.
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation- Just like Spartan said I did not have much hope for this one as it was the fifth in the franchise but God it did surprise me and must say Cruise still has got it. The movie was beautifully executed, great acting, plot and direction. There were some flaws here and there but they all were overshadowed by it's pros. To pull off a plot such as this so late in the franchise sure takes some brains, some really unexpected turns at moments. The bike chase was amazing and the best part it was shot in London, Imagining breaking into those buildings was quite fun :D

Mission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation...............(8.5/10) watched in Dolby Atmos at Reel Cinema, Dubai. I am a huge fan of MI series and this one was no exception, top notch action and what not with a spice of comedy as well. Loved it and a must watch movie of this summer!!

Divergent: Insurgent.......................(7/10) watched in HD, after being utterly bored with the first part last year my expectations were quite low, but somehow it was a bit better than first part, only a bit. Bad CGI was there as well. I hope it gets over soon!!!

Watched two classics today , both had southern setting watched them back to my back and sheeeeeet my mind in spinning southern im talking in their style right now .

To Kill A Mocking Bird (1962)

Heard lot about this name , girls used to talk in uni about the novel how classic it is didn't knew it has a film based on it to , found out recently a month ago when i read on BBC that the writer harper has written her second novel seqeul to mocking bird the watchman something and it (mocking bird) had a 10 times nominated movie so todai i decidedto download this oldie as i usually dont like to watch black n white movies much exception of few which are forced upon like we had 12 angry men back in days of management class and some others watching with my elder brother on TV when i was a kid .

Now about the movie the setting is 1930's after great depression and in south blacks are treated like sheet , not trusted but the movie more focus is on the good upbringing of the Atticus children and to treat every one equally the movie cant not be describable in words its a complete emotional drama film and a must watch now i understand why this movie is regarded as one of the best drama film and its hard to describe one of these best movies , you better ought to watch it your self to truly enjoy it .

Sling Blade

This movie came by surprise to me i was browsing YIFY torrents movies and saw this one with rating above 8 , Mine of mine Billy Bob Thorton as given performance of his life and he wrote and directed the movie it self , Billy plays a little retarded adult called Karl who just got released from Mental hospital he finds difficult to adjust after his release and returns back to hospital same day , only the good the doctor lets him find a job with some good folks , mean while he helped a kid first day and develops a friend ship with him and start living with his family , he has a emotional connection with the boy (Lucas Black the Tokyo Drift kid ) who also acted pretty good in this , and the boy has same emotional connection , Karl is a simple man and pretty good one .
Then there is Doyle Character who is the boy's mother Boy Friend he is abusive and a big trouble , the story ends on a pretty emotional and sad way , one gotta feel for Karl he deserved the free world . You might easily predict what Karl might do , but its so fun to watch Billy Bob he doesn't act any dumb or a nut job he plays the character with realism
