SAN ANDREAS (2015)
Things to learn from this movie:
- Nature is sadist so don't f*ck with it, or its going to shatter your ass with a 9.6.
- keep a very reassuring personality and voice, such as Dwayne Johnson's.
- Don't run because you will definitely get killed by a falling concrete block
"OH MY GOD" is really the best way to interpret this earth shattering experience. Repeating '2012' didn't make me feel particularly good about San Andreas but The moment we get to look at The Rock's face, we get a sense of assurity that the movie is in the right hands. And as bulky this guy is, he was incredibly strong to take the whole movie on his shoulders, while looking pretty good as chopper pilot. Those chopper stunts during opening rescue in mountains, was that for realz?
I am not particularly fond of how these movies present a dark picture. Especially how our 'hero' is the only one 'truly' affected during a disaster. But if i had a chopper, i might've also done same thing i.e. using Jets and boats for rescuing my own family first. Other than that, destruction sequences were very well done, except for some water stunts. 'Parachute Landing' made me chuckle. Its OK entertainment, and a popcorn flick. Take it as such. 6/10.
Pitch Perfect 2...................(8/10) watched in HD, just like the previous part I loved this one as well, Anna Kendrick adorable as always, had a good time watching it!
Hot Pursuit....................(6/10) watched in HD, nothing entertaining in it, just a pointless story with poor acting and direction, maybe good for time pass or maybe not!

Z for Zachariah
Z for Zachariah is a post apocalyptic drama about a girl living alone in a world devastated by Nuclear war until she finds out that she is not alone.
The movie can be seen in two halves. The first half is the much superior drama about the religious farm girl and the scientist survivor she finds. While the second half turns into a lame love triangle which ultimately bogs the movie down. Seriously, why did they have to put that in. Could have been a much better movie without it.
There are only three actors in the movie and all did great, especially Chiwatel Ejiofor. Margot Robbie looked really beautiful, in a more natural way.
The film's cinematography was great, very well shot. And I liked the soundtrack as well.

Southpaw
Southpaw is a by the books boxing/similar genre movie. It has the usual cliches and is predictable and all that. But all of that is OK because I don't really care about that if the execution is alright.
Jake Gyllenhaal stars as the champion boxer. I gotta tell ya, this dude is following Bale's footsteps when it comes to physical transformation. Not long ago we got the skinny looking weird version in NightCrawler and now this fully buffed boxer. Gyllenhaal continues to impress me with his acting too, the dude was great yet again. He was intense, he was broken, and you really feel for him. Someone else who was really great was the daughter. I was really surprised by her and witnessing a great child acting is kinda rare. Rachel McAdams and Forest Whitaker also delivered great performances, their best in a while. 50 cents was just OK though.
Since the movie follows the typical style of this genre, you get the initial fame, then something happens and there is the downfall area and lastly the ultimate revival with a montage. Since the acting was great, I really felt for the character in the downfall time, and things kept on getting worse. And when revival came, I was rooting for him even though I knew what will happen. That's good character development.
The boxing scenes were handled very well. They were really raw with sweat and blood and you could feel the punches. I also loved that some scenes were in POV, giving you a better boxer's perspective.
All in all, it was a great film. I had a good time with it. If you like this genre, then this is a definite watch.

Fantastic Four
Oh boy, finally got to see this popular flop. And yeah, it is bad.
The most important thing in a movie like this i.e team dynamic and chemistry was almost non existent. Whatever stuff they tried to develop felt forced and lame, only thing that I somewhat liked was Ben and Reed chemistry. The acting was somewhat serviceable but what they had to work with was bad, so in turn they ended up looking lame, even though there was some talent here, especially Myles Teller. I think he would have made a pretty good reed if he had gotten something better to work with.
The story and its pacing were shit. Horribly edited. Some stuff happens, then some other stuff, then some other, all in a rushed and poorly executed way and you're just sitting there thinking, what are they going for here. The finale was also pretty lame. Hardly any fight and bam, its over. They jam in famous lines of these heroes there and it all just felt like a disaster.
Atleast you would expect CGI to be good. But it was very inconsistent. Some scenes were pretty OK while others were laughably bad. The Thing sometimes looked serviceable while sometimes he looked way too fake. And they should have atleast put some pants on him. And then there is DOOM. WTF happened with him. He was just FUGLY.
It's funny that the most talked about thing prior to the release of the movie, Black Jhonny, didn't even bother me. They just explained it with Susan being Adopted and I was fine with it as tons of other stuff was much more wrong in the movie.
The movie tried to take itself too seriously. Have some fun for crying out loud. There was only one scene in the movie where I had a chuckle, that's it. Everything else was just forced seriousness, that just ended up being bland and boring. The previous two Fantastic Four movies are much better than this one. Atleast they had some fun with it and Chris Evans was a great Human Torch.
Avoid it.

- Amber Heard is cool as shit...
- Jada Pinkett Smith is fierce as shit...

- It was light and fun...

Love triangle, you know, two guys in love with a girl and she's in love with them too but can't decide and all that shit. I hate such stuff, so it really brought down the movie like I said in my review.
hmmmm actually when I saw it on imdb i read ,"love triangle" bcz I dont like movies focusing love mainly, I can be fine with joe and norrie type love in under the dome like its just normal, but the theme like " Oh angie I'd be dead without you" , I dont like these kinda stories and entertainment
I feel ya. And the love triangle is not good in the movie. It's not the overly sappy or cheesy type but still, it's a love triangle, which are always lame.
Poltergeist - 9.5/10
Ok it is a good horror , really good horror , I loved its effects screenplay and the way they ended the movie , in 3/4 part of the movie they were trying to do casual Abuses will lead to ban stuff as normal horror movies do , but then the did it so well in the 4/4.
and its one of the movies in which I like the "aur wo hansi khushi se rheny lagay" type ending :tv:

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (2015)
I have waited for far too long for this. It starts action packed. Some of the overboard stuff made it seem cheap for the moment, but it gets better. Like, WAYYYY better. Purely ferocious and completely bonkers action scenes are like orgasm. You just can't get enough of them. 'Veronica vs. The Hulk', craziness unlimited. Who the hell thinks of these things, let alone materializing them? 'Vision' and the new 'fast & weird' characters are amazing introduction ... with an amazing introduction. I like how 'Jarvis' has come to life, because the voice acting by Paul Bettany has always been superb.
Ultron A.I was like a robotic Loki. Devilish, extremely yet discreetly evil, and fantastically witty. Plus, the voice acting is so so cold. Age of Ultron is the first movie to have shown the true physical capability of Captain America. (Mockery of 'Language' joke at unexpected moments had its fare share of laughs. Also, that 'THOR's hammer picking challenge' at the party where Captain America nearly picked up the hammer, the facial expressions of THOR were GOLD. Was that indication of something, or not? Cap seems 'worthy' enough, though.)
Witty scenes and humor makes you chuckle around every corner. Yeah, Avengers got jokes. 'Opera on beats headphones', yeah that's funny. "Stark is right. Oh, its definitely the end times." Whenever the team is together, they really feel, look and function as a team. The chemistry is genuine to the core. ('Party tricks at the party', 'Safe House scenes'). Hawkeye, Black Widow, every single Avenger has equally impressive and balanced role. Not just that, the incredibly amazing visuals have only become better over the years, and there is no way else to describe the jaw dropping effects. I am totally in love with Avengers: Age of Ultron. 9/10. Movies like these make me want to have the upcoming Marvels movies, like NOWWW.
