I wanted to see how The Last of Us Part 2 fares in the OP's certified "Cutscene to Gameplay Ratio ®" analysis.

Average length of completion is 22h 48m.
Almost 5 hours of cutscenes.

22.8 - 4.95 = 17.85h worth of gameplay


Cutscene to Gameplay Ratio ® becomes 3.6 to 1.

In order to conveniently shit on other games, the OP stated that atleast "5 to 1" ratio is acceptable. Part 2 falls way short of that mark.

Conveniently changing the location of the original gif so that contextual animation never plays out. Fake demo still fake :lol:


I should've made my own comparison video. Seem to be doing a better job than both DF and NX Gamer :ROFLMAO:

I'm waiting to be pleasantly surprised by Ghosts of Tsushima and any surprise new console launch games. I don't expect some other games to even make it in 2020 TBH :p

It'd be difficult for me to talk about TLOU2's gameplay and not bring up MGS, because I believe it draws heavily from both MGS3 and RE4, more so than the original TLOU did. It doesn't lean in favor of either, and strikes a great balance between the two design philosophies, imo. When some people argue that TLOU2 doesn't offer revolutionary gameplay or does nothing new in this regard, they're right when viewing each mechanic in isolation. But when viewed as a whole, this evolution and merger of existing concepts comes together to deliver a unique experience.

I don't expect simple small linear level games developed in 6-7 years to have so many bugs and glitches. Some are admittedly pretty hilarious.

Oh, the above post reminds me I have my own video curated from first playthrough experiences of such a polished and refined game whose sole focus was attention to detail and no MP 😛

lmao @ developed in 6-7 years. Were they co-developing it with Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy? :ROFLMAO:

Heck, the game was announced in December 2016 lol. Active development began after UC4's release, and the full 350 person studio was working on it after Lost Legacy was done.

Hahah what a joke. The guy clearly has accessibility settings enabled (auto aim is seen enabled everywhere in the video), yet shows them all disabled at the beginning. Who knows what other accessibility settings he secretly changed (e.g. prone invisibility, stealth awareness, difficulty itself lol). Blind ass hater defending a weak ass streamer :ROFLMAO:

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
