The world is full of surprises isn't it?and the world is full of heartless people aswell.you mught have heard of many bank frauds but this one is one of its kind.
A new branch of barclays bank was open few months back on peko road Lahore,i hope many of you have heard about this road.A luxery bank building was constructed with some suited booted staff in it. As a new multinational bank was open in that area many people got there account opened.Hundreds and millions of amount was transfered to the bank. After few days when the account holders went to get there cash, there was nothing there except a building with a barclays bank board hanging infront of it.
Actually there was no real branch opened in that area.It was a fraud. The owner ran away when a suitable amount of money was transfered to the bank. The people lost there money which they earned working all there life time and at the end they were left with nothing,If you want to see that bank .visit peko road its board is still hanging there, spread this message to as many people as you can,so that people should get aware of such fraud banks.your message might help someone save his life time of money.

makes no sense buddy that news is fake to me barclays isnt a small name, as you phrased many people opened there accounts millions transfered and not a single damn person checked online at barclays? there is always a notification at the sites about the new branch opening and other competitor banks keep a close look at it to keep up in the field and you need to do some legitamite paper work to transfer between branches.

Peko Road is so close to my house that i can actually walk to there in nearly 25 minutes. On bike, its hardly 5-6 minutes.

I have heard nothing about such news. Heck didnt even hear it on any news channel, or in any news paper (we get Daily Jang, Nawa-e-Waqt in our house).

Kindly mention more reliable source than that, and i'll see how true that news is.

Its not possible bro, let me enlighten you about banking as you totally seem to be unaware of how they work.
No branch can be opened without the permission granted by State Bank of Pakistan which monitors a financial institute (say bank) in terms of capital and number of branches opened in a fiscal year. Once a bank achieve the targets endowed by the State Bank, the get their newly opened branches enlisted. State Bank provides them with the No objection certificate which can be seen in any branch (Mostly framed near the notice board). After getting the NOC, a branch starts working as a independent organization with State Bank and NIFT ( another institute which facilitates clearing for the transfer of amounts among different banks via debit instruments such as cheques, drafts, pay orders etc). Before the end of day all the cash; leaving the assigned limit is transferred to State Bank where different accounts of private banks are maintained by Pheonix armour (You may have seen the vehicles carrying cash), and all the debit instruments received/delivered by NIFT, even if there are no cheques for transfer, the branch has to submit its clearing report on daily basis. Which ensure the transfers within 24 hours. Given the circumstances you mentioned, it cannot happen that a costumer would wait for 3 to 4 days for a normal bank transfer, that State Bank wouldn't notice inauguration of a new branch along with its requirements, that NIFT wouldn't check for the transfer of amounts, that Phoenix wont check the transfer of cash, that the main branch of the city would be unaware of a branch being opened.

All the above facts negate the scenario you sketched.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
