Study Loan for International Students

Is there something offered like study loan for student intending international studies? Someone having information and/or have experience please share with me.
I have got admission @ University of Salford, Manchester.

Puter mere maze he to nai hai ider . yes its fun when u have khula paisa to spend and u dont have to earn urself 5 days a week plus do studies as well

In Malaysia Segi collage is offering Scotland degree which i am doing and if u score overall 3.00 gpa u will go UK and they 100% give u good job and a apart free but ur comment let me down.Btw 90 family is in uk and america they always come here to study

Every part of the world has its good and its bad. A common "white-collar" man is better off in West, while if you're uber rich, Pakistan is a paradise for you.

An estimated Amount (or percentage of total expense) of loan required would be really helpful to give a better suggestion. Loan/Scholarship from your university would be your best bet. However, situation is going really bad in UK when it comes to Pakistani students and I have hardly heard of a mid-tier university offering any kind of funding other than petty entrance awards (worth less 7000). I don't think banks here in Pakistan are offering loans for foreign education to students (heck! some brilliant people here can't afford fee of local a university). So, the last option is to ask for loan from your local community, any rich uncle or other relatives e.t.c.

Loan needed is 1.5 Million. I searched a bit and found no clue of getting any educational loan from any Pakistani bank. University will not be funding me in any case as well..

1.5 million is nothing. Are going for a Masters program? You can earn that much amount by doing part time job there you know?

Yes, I am going for MSc Petroleum and Gas Engineering. Fee is GBP 14000 and GBP 8000 has to submitted before commencement of classes. So 8000 are straightway neeeded before landing there.

on the contrary, id suggest anyone to come to Germany. because if u know the language, u have so many opportunities. some time ago, the companies used to look for ppl and they couldnt find them. so u can understand the job situation here. But having said that, language is must must here. i cant emphasis this enough. u have to know the language if ur serious about coming here.

Actually I am willing to do a Masters in Petroleum. German universities, unfortunately do not offer good range of relevant degree courses. One big plus of UK is one year degree time.

if u plan on staying after your masters than there are no choices in UK, u complete your masters in one year and u go back, period. if u do the masters from Germany u can stay here after your masters. so it depends on your future plans.

Instead of talking about whether to go to UK or not or go somewhere else etc etc can we please get back on topic?

I'd like to know about any student loans available if i go abroad for study. Would the loan be taken from a local bank here in Pakistan or the country where im going for studies? And secondly what are its requirements/interest rate/maximum amount etc etc
