Something you regretted buying?

So, is there any thing that u bought and u really regretted buying it?

I really regretted buying my Intel D945GCNL MOTHERBOARD. Why? Because I thought I would never OC and that I dont need all the features and everything. About 2 weeks later I had an urge to OC and could not. Right now I would have my E2180 @ 3.0 If I had gotten Asus-P5K-VM for 1000 bucks more

Plus, I could have upgraded my RAM to 4GB and CPU to E8200. (I said I COULD, not WOULD)

Lessons learned:

No.1: ALWAYS RESEARCH.
N0.2: NEVER BUY INTEL MOBO'S

just cause of my mobo i sold whole stuff for dirt cheap rate
n bought 6750+p5kvm+dhx cl4 rams n cm 460watts psu ...
so ist thing which i regretted buyin is xfx 630i mobo due to its single channel ram!!!

one of the biggest regrett i have iz with my current Mobo
i bought it back in October 2008 with my C2D E7300 2.66GHz i wanted to buy E8200 but Jayzzy stopped me now i realize tht i made the right decision by buying E7300

i didnt wanted to OverClock i though nah why wuld i risk my C2D by OCing
so i bought ASUS P5KPL-VM cause it was cheap and supported C2Q aswell
i used 3 Intel Boards before so i bought ASUS for teh lulz

if i wanted i culd have bought P5K-VM but i didnt
upside was i atleast bought ASUS though a budget board it allowed me OC of 3.33GHz if i had bought E8200 i wuldnt be OC it on this board :lol:

I had that motherboard long time ago...loved it!

Umm..nothing in particular... I only got stuff to fulfil my needs...nothing overkill. It doesn't count but I regret buying the Xbox 360

bought e5200 for Rs7200 and Asus silent knight Rs 3500 that made the total = 10800 - i could have easily bought e8400 that time because i had the money and on stock fan e8400 would have overclocked to such a level that it would outclass e5200 easily. and then later on an after market cooler would do wonders.

secondly i dont regret much but i do regret it a bit when i think of selling the stuff like buying the GPU cooler for my 4850 - it costed me 4k. so in theory i spent 17.5k on GPU and 4 k on cooler - i could have bought 4870 with some additional money.

in both the cases i had the additional money and yet i opted for these options - thats where the regretting part starts. other wise i am very happy what ive got.

i regret buying my 2 last branded desktop pc because they are real hard to sell here..and if you do get lucky then its like dirt cheap.

but i havent regreted buying intel board but i think its the best think if you dont want any trouble..,but i am gonna buy overcloackacle board now coz i can handle little trouble now

I regret buying my very 1st system 500Mhz celeron with 32mb ram and 10GB harddisk, bought it for 35000 in 2000. then in 2001 or 2002 (don't remember) i bought p4 2.0 GHz with D845GV motherboard with 256MB ddr1 and that was my biggest mistake coz i left it all to the shopkeeper and he billed me aroun 16K for these items, I regret it cause both the times i left everything to the shopkeeper and he also charget me alot.

Buying a Asus P5KVM instead of a MSI P35 Neo! I had to buy ti because of not buying a GPU for a few months! P5KVM is good ... but P35 Neo is teh ultimate sax0r!

Well what i regretted buying was my 8500GT 2 years ago i think i got into the shopkeepers words as i could have gotten my self a 8600GT at that time (& lol damn my father was there too so......u know he had to pay)
Other than that i haven't made a mistake in buying stuff.Satisfied with the things i have.

I blindly trusted the dealer and well...

I spent SO MUCH money on my P4 system... You guys have no idea. Bought a friggin 9600XT (Radeon, not NVIDIA) for 17k lol

1.7GHz => 2.2 GHz => 2.4 GHz => 2.8 GHz
Losing money on every processor upgrade.

My last build was completed after a shitload of research. I was, what-you-call, computer literate
Discussed it here with the PG guys and made a final list. Took some risks (ASUS LCD), but everything worked perfectly.

4850 didn't allow me to play GTA IV at HIGH textures... And was jittery in Crysis Warhead at enthusiast 1680x1050.
So... I've sold it, along with the PSU.

Now I don't have a 3D card or a PSU :tv:

Theres more than a cable difference. SATA transfer rates are much faster than IDE.
