I have personally met Billal and ordered an item that no importer here was willing to import for me. It was a huge piano. I got the item. So i can confirm his business was not a scam, atleast initially. However, the second time i ordered the item, i did not get it. But he offered me a refund, which i refused, since it wasn't material and his son had died and every single of his client was asking for refunds (which wasn't possible since he had bought the items on amazon). From what I can tell his business ran into some very serious trouble with the customs and his existing shipments at the time were confiscated by customs (and auctioned off?).
From that point onwards i lost contact with him. But from what i can tell by his order activity (THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND COULD VERY EASILY BE WRONG) on FB, in desperation, he started fulfilling redemption requests (pay my money back) by converting his business into a ponzi scheme (using money in from new orders to full redemption requests of old clients) in the hopes that when the dust settled it would balance out (he was in talks with customs at the time). Ofcoure, if the talks failed, which they probably did. He was done for. This is a tragic case, but imo bankruptcy and desperation is a more accurate description than scamming. Just my $0.02
