MULTI [Rumor] Black Ops 2

Activision recently purchased the domain "www.blackops2.com" which most people
are seeing as a sequel to Black Ops.Although it is not yet confirmed by Activision
that sequel is under production, so there is a chance that it might only be an
anti-piracy step to prevent hoaxers from imitating the site and fraud people.

I'm not one of those guys, COD has been copy pasting their games for the last 4 games. This is a repetitive series that needs to die or atleast bring something new to the table. I'm even sick of Battlefield, BF3 should've been better but now its the same as COD. There is less destruction, less team work and less strategy involved in BF3 than BF: BC2. The whole FPS genre needs a new makeover

COD 4, CODMW2, CODMW3 = Same characters, same animations, same sounds, same design, same everything

Oooohh 60 fps. wow! That's huge innovation in game design.

The third copy-paste game in the COD series was World at War. They went back to the world War 2 setting with the same dam crap, rinse and repeat gameplay with no actual feel or yet again creativity to the game.

AND remember Reznov? he shows in Black Ops.That goes to show how lame, pathetic and limited the vision of Activision really is. They can't come up with fresh, original content for each game.

You can't bring Battlefield into this discussion because Battlefield 3 series has yet to come up with a copy paste style game like COD.

Why should they? The target audience for COD is pre-teens, teenagers and retards who LOVE the copy paste experience. IT SELLS, it will be remade! Hence the Black ops 2 game!

Thing is no game ever really "changes". Halo will always be halo, Battlefield will always be battlefield and Call of Duty will always be Call of Duty. They'll throw in a few bells and whistles and call it new but they're still the same games at their essence. Call of Duty may be the worst offender of this but from what I've seen they've brought far more to the table than Battlefield has in this iteration. You couldn't have picked a worse time to leave COD.

I don't qualify for (nearly) anything on your "COD scale", yet how is it that I can still manage to enjoy the game? I play it for its fast-paced fiercely competitive gameplay, for its well designed maps and balanced guns and killstreaks. I wasn't a fan of either MW2 or BO but I can't imagine how any COD fan, past or present, could hate on MW3.

As for BO 2, meh.

Going back to Tribes (or rather trying the new installment), reminded me how fun and addictive the formula is. If you're tired of war shooters or need a change in pace, give it a shot.

Look at the pathetic consoles and there hardware. You want a 60fps game, COD is the best you can get.

When it comes to PRICE to VALUE percentage there are very few games that can match COD.

Yes it sticks to old formula and recycles alot, but isn't this what fans want from a franchise. I don't want COD to become BF. Both are great games and are fun.
