know thats a great competition....GTS 250 512mb for 13.5k and 4850 for 12.5k waao great....really nice

AFQ yar plz show some card pics i really like card shape and that DONT DISTRUP sign...though i know i m a ATI fan...

i used ATI n NVIDIA...to me both are same

i would like to know that future games which will proof that..also considers its DDR5 but otherwise its one decision to where to go both path are quite same..

and

palit 4850 will only be better for karachies as the shop is in karachi so they can claim easily.

If everybody else had the same mentality then everybody would have preferred a 1GB HD4850 over a 512MB HD4870.

well not in all games .... just a couple of games.. but 260 performs overall better in all games. & hell 4850 cant even get close to GTX260.

bro, it applies to higher resolutions which you have not included in ur chart.

also in ur chart can you see there is almost 90% fpps increase rom 512mb to 1gb. 7.5 and 13 fps on 1920x1200 res

1gb is required for above high resolutions on 22 inch monitors as 512 mb rame buffer cannot cope with it.

you will see difference in between 4870 512mb and 1gb model on high res

He actually isn't playing at 1920x1200 now is he, and even if he does 13fps isn't playable at all.

people usually dont play on these resolutions .... do they???
most people here have a 19" LCD..... only some of them have a 22" or more .... so i guess i am right what i was trying to say.

i dont think it wont be happening because 4770 have a little bit different but advanced architecture.
so forget it

Bro kindly post ur cpu-z and memory configuration from cpu-z. Also post some benchies from crysis1 and 2 and farcry2, if possible with the same settings as i posted in my palit 4850 review so that we can compare performance of both the cards and also post 3dmark06 score.

It should have been here already coz it came out just about a month ago and galaxy/czone are very fast in importing new gpus.....but this gpu faced some serious shortages globally, so i don't think it's gonna come here anytime soon (or at all)

bro 4770 is fast as 4850 and gts 250 at only 109$ compared to 130$ gts 250
