hey guys i bought XFX GTS 250 1gb version from galaxy LHR for 15k.(1)
I was thinking to buy PALIT HD4850(very popular among pakgamers these days) but the die hard fan of NVIDIA woke up and suddenly bought this card.
i think its real worth for money.
here is a little review and bechmarks.

WARRANTY:
As everyone know it got 1 year warranty.

PACKAGE:
XFX gave a good and impressive box.
It got a molex converter, a HDMI to VGA converter, DVI cable.
and wow it got a Free copy of 3d mark vantage advanced edition worth 20$.

I dont know the exact graphics settings cuz launcher of fall out 2 is in Russian.

Looks:10/10(its got killer looks)
Temperature:7/10(its a bit hot in my generic case with messy wires.Idle:51,Load: 81):crying:
Performance:9/10
Quality:9/10
Power Saving:10/10(GTS 250 is a rebuilt 9800GTX+ but it is a real power saver)

abt temps, install rivatuner... max out the fan speed before playing games... this gives a bit of relief, plz post ur PC pics, we might help u with airflow issues

Yaar i'm currently using an evga 9600 gso 768mb , so i just thought i'll get the evga one.

if u have less than 21" screen i would suggest u to go for 512MB version as 1Gb is a bit overkill at these res

yup my cpu is a stock speed.
bro i luv its luks so i gave 10/10...
i already have a 120mm exhaust, 92mm intake, and a 80mm fan on side panel in front of gpu as intake but still my temperatures are very high.
INSHALLAH em gona buy gladiator 600 next month, it will help.

CONGRATS on ur PURCHASE!!

first thing first...benchies are same as ATI 4850....extra 512mb will only worth at 1080p otherwise not a big difference and provide some GPU incentives BENCHIES like FARCRY2 CRYSIS....GTA is a CPU incentive game and others are dam average game..



other thing that u missed is that in PG PALIT 4850 DDR5 is common knowadays not a 4830...and offcourse as due to its price..

bro i went to buy 512mb one but when i went there the galaxy guy said we are gone reduce price tomorrow but i will give it to on reduced price thats why i bought 1gb.
em gona instal crysis tonight, and will also get farcry2 tomorrow.

If you would just pay a visit to hammad's thread in hardware section you'll realise your mistake:wink2:, that kid's already confused due to everyone throwing advice at him.

And Mr. AFQ could you post the benchmarks on CrySis and Warhead? I myself am interested in this card and would like to know how well it fares against the Card Killer Game.
