Prolimatech Megahelms unboxing+installing+OCCT test

hello guys..after waiting for 2 months i finally got my prolimatech megahelms cpu cooler..along with xigmatect 140mm white led fans and a tube of artic silver 5..all from UK.(1)
my old cooler was Z600 which was good when i installed it but after few months of use its performence got worst.idle temps on that cooler was above 50s and under load above 70s...so i decided to get rid of it.

now time to unbox them..

guys tell me about the thermal paste, sahi spread hoi??

i ran occt test for 1 hr without any error, now [email protected] at 1.36V

first of all...pictures are taken beautifully...well done. secondly i just think that green does not go well with orange. You should keep a contrast as in orange with black or something like that. only the green cathode is a bit off, the rest, cooler, fans, everything looks amazing. well done and congrats.

Congratulations on getting such a good cooler.

Temps are bit high but they will decrease once AS5 settles down(it takes 200Hrs).

Congrats mate BTW why megahelms why not any other as u bought it from abroad u had many more options
and how much did The Cooler costed u and the cost of the fan ?

thanx bro..well when i bought it, it was 2 months ago and at that time it was on 3rd on frosty tech site..i searched for Q6600 results are they were very good and i was also looking for a smart cooler, not like Z600 that takes too much space..so i got this one..

ok so this shows 50 as average and 29 at idle....and im not getting these...

Man the Temps u see in Reviews have 15 to 20c Room ambient
according to me u r temp looks fine it reached from 40 to 63 max
arround 20c leap
same as the reviewer showed 30c to 50 same 20c Leap

which seems fine to me i might be wrong as i am not Guru at these as well so guys correct me if iam wrong

fans working at 1500 rpm? did u apply the thermal paste on just the center or the entire cpu?

I have a E6750 @ 3.2Ghz which is also a 65nm CPU. I'm running a hyper 212+ and on OCCT stress tests I get 52-53 degrees max.

yes this might be the reason, i dont know the exact room temp but the zalam fan controller shows 40 when AC is off and when ac is on it dops to 30..
and fans costed me arround 2300Rs (20pounds) and cooler costed me £41.83

yes 1500rpm and i applired the paste on entire cpu..u can see it in the pic i have added it

give it a few days...maybe ur Ambient temps r not good...meaning ur room temp...do u sit in a hot environment?

Ur Room temp is 40c and Ur IDLE Temp of ur CPU is 44 thats fine i Guess
Does this Cooler support Push Pull config ?

There can be various reasons. Cooler not seated properly, thermal paste not applied properly e.t.c

Yeah pushnpull config will help & by the looks of it you did apply thermal paste correctly. hmm.....
