Lol Wut?

I have played its earlier builds, i can assure you even those earlier builds were better than Drive Club let alone the final game. :tv:
I forgot to ask, how much did the limited edition cost you in Rupees?

And why did you Pre-Order? I ain't into Preordering stuff. OR were you getting something extra in pre-ordering it?

8k Approx. from game.co.uk through Jshak

Look at the left portion of the image, that's what the guys who preordered it will get.

- - - Updated - - -

Limited editions usually run out of stock quickly so i preordered it, little did i know that they would actually delay it :crying:

P.S. I've never preordered anything before this, i guess i was bit too much excited :p

Based on?

Better to delay a game rather then release it prematurely.
'eh WUT?

On what grounds you have started to assume that? You do realize that its the same team which was behind Shift 2? This is gonna exceed your expectations.

It can be a good game, but will it fare well with the reviews? We will see that.

And I forgot to put a question mark there. So there's that. It was more of an assumption based on the fact that the game is getting delayed. I do know that the devs are releasing the Alpha/Beta builds so its not the same. Still, they also seem to focus a lot of the graphics just like DriveClub did pre-release.

You know nothing john snow, they aren't releasing alpha/beta builds to the public etc. They are letting the community (who donated to help the development) have access to every build and then according to their feedback make appropriate changes. The entire game has been build on that idea, i myself have played two builds of the game, it was in May i think when i played it, my cousin has donated so i played it on his PC.

Though the graphics are very good i like the gameplay as well, although i still do not agree with the fact that its an actual sim (A mix of Arcade & Sim? Yes) but then again i do not consider GT and Forza to be sims as well :p

I hope the final version has the issues sorted out that were present in the earlier builds of the game e.g. no feel of the rear end of the car when using a steering wheel (in some of the cars only).

they says its because of crowded window and to avoid competition...if that's really the case, why not delay for like maybe a couple of months? Christmas and Jan window isnt too crowded by racing sims..

If that's the result on your PC, it is better that you just sell it and use that money to get an Xbox One and Forza Horizon 2. Or wait for Gran Turismo 7 on PS4.
You should reserve your judgment for final built of the game. Don't judge platforms on the basis of incomplete games.

IMO, consoles are not for adults.

[h=2]Project Cars delayed again, this time by a few weeks into April[/h]

Project Cars, the simulation racer from Slightly Mad Studios, has been delayed into April, publisher Bandai Namco Games announced today.

In North America, the Windows PC version of Project Cars will now launch April 2 on Steam, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be available April 7. In Europe, the game will be released April 2 on all three platforms.

Last September, Bandai Namco announced plans to launch Project Cars Nov. 18, but decided the following month to push the game out of the crowded fall release window into mid-March. The Wii U and SteamOS versions of Project Cars are still scheduled to be release sometime this year, following the initial launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The new delay of two to three weeks resulted from "final adjustments in the game that are required to provide fans with the best gaming experience they can have," said Bandai Namco in a press release today.

"Moving the release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project Cars," said Ian Bell, studio head at Slightly Mad. "But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April."

For more on Project Cars, check out the trailer that Bandai Namco released a month ago.

Delays, delays, delays! In some cases, they're for the better. Here's hoping it's true case for this game.

Graphically, though, I've been spoiled by Driveclub. It completely obliterates Project CARS. Although it's highly doubtful, perhaps the final build of Project CARS would at least be comparable to it.

[h=2]Project Cars delayed one more time to mid-May[/h]

Slightly Mad Studios' driving game Project Cars won't be making its previously scheduled April release date, the studio and publisher Bandai Namco announced today. Now the game is expected sometime in the middle of May.

"Despite our long heritage and pedigree in making critically-acclaimed racing games, Project Cars is by far the grandest and most intricately detailed of them all," said Ian Bell, head of Slightly Mad Studios, in a release. "Despite therefore the game being 99.9% complete, the remaining 0.1% attending to small issues and bugs has been tricky to anticipate. We're absolutely dedicated to delivering a ground-breaking experience and by targeting mid-May fans can be assured that's what they'll receive."

Bell said that as compensation for the delay, Slightly Mad will give Project Cars players some free content, the details of which will be announced later.

"This gift, that we're sure is going to excite fans, will be available from day one and revealed shortly," Bell said. "Keep an eye on our website for more info."

Project Cars was originally scheduled to be released this past November. But the racing sim was pushed to March 2015 to give it a bit more polish and was later bumped again to April.

Project Cars is coming first to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. Versions of the game for SteamOS and Wii U are expected later this year.

[h=2]Project Cars gets a May 8 release date[/h]

Project Cars, the oft-delayed racing game from developer Slightly Mad Studios, will be released May 8, according to a tweet this week from publisher Bandai Namco's U.K. Twitter account.

We've contacted Banda Namco's U.S. representatives to see what regions that date applies to and will update this story with more information as it becomes available.

Project Cars was originally scheduled for a November 2014 release. Slightly Mad Studios, veterans of Need for Speed: Shift, delayed it three times from its original 2014 release window. Project Cars will be released first on PS4, Xbox One and PC with a Wii U version to follow.

Press play below to take a tour of the game's many courses.

Project CARS Review - IGN

Project CARS isn’t for everybody. It’s a serious, deep, and demanding racing simulation for people who like their motorsport pure. There’s no pop punk soundtrack, or explosive takedowns, or generous rewinds. Developer Slightly Mad Studios set out to capture the experience of manhandling a real racing car around a long list of some of the world’s most famous racing circuits, and has thoroughly succeeded. Tough but satisfying and cruel but fair, Project CARS is a truly fantastic racing game with the potential to become a real force in the genre.
Can't wait to get my hands on it but I have to wait few days more for US release.

Tag/quote a person properly with respect & have a civilized & educated discussion! Why do pgers have to be passive aggressive assholes about everything?!

Calling another person a 'chimp' is just bad!

Anyway, PCars is more in league with Forza 5. The sheer amount of driving simulation customization options is mind blowing. It's fun!

Welp, done with Hellblade 2. Thoroughly disappointed. Such a nothing burger after the unique experience of the first game.

I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

  • L LegacyGamerGuy:
Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

It is indeed the worst generation by far.

Both PS and Xbox have been a flop this gen as they can barely maintain 30 fps in a lot of AAA games th.

As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.
