No no its all about sharing caring thing / lack of enthusiasm back at that time we still used to get news from site like gamespot ign but we still used to share the same news with PG audience but now a days ppl don't even bother to Create a thread themselves,
i see [MENTION=507]manigamer[/MENTION] actively doing the job same goes for [MENTION=8060]abobobilly[/MENTION] and [MENTION=6068]Ottoman[/MENTION] but all these are mods why no one else takes the responsibility they will not do it forever why there is no one to replace i still remember the Last cricket world cup thread was not created by anyone for 3 to 4 days until Ottoman himself did from his busy schedule
and what was the first few reply came on that post was "i was desperately waiting for this thread", "i was so pissed of by Pakistan performance i need to scold on them i was waiting for that thread" and nobody even appreciated the amount of effort OP did on creating the thread , this can only be understood to those ppl who does the contribution that how much time does it take to do your own write up.
but they never bothered to create a thread and discuss, This is lack of enthusiasm or what ?, this isn't lack of activity ppl were there but not willing to take responsibility
those ppl who become mod were previously normal members here even without Mod responsibility they actively used to contribute on community later hand picked now there isn't much potentialy deserving ppl to be hand picked for team

Yes Facebook / Mobile is a big reason but its not like we are not getting traffic / activity
Plus [MENTION=4177]NaNoW[/MENTION] is doing Great Job he is on the right direction i am pretty sure his dedication will pay off in long run !
