I think Liverpool will struggle without Suarez.

I would have thought that with no European games, United would have a great chance of at least getting into the top 4 with Liverpool dropping out, but watching United today, I don't think they are good enough to beat Liverpool to top 4.

Maybe with a few signings United could be better, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

United have been lacking in the quality of players ever since Ronaldo, Tevez and Berba left. The upcoming young players are shit. Herrera is a good signing. Luke Shaw is an overrated, overpaid youngster. The fault lies with the board, the management and the people responsible for the transfers foremost. a lot of it had to do with Moyes's handling of the media.... i dont care what squad you inherit, but if you, as a United manager say that we hope to be as good as City, then i'm sorry, but you need to leave

I read Moyes latest interview seems like Ed Woodward promised and showed him signs about signing players like Cesc , Bale and Ronaldo , in the end he fucked big time and Moyes only panic buy was of Fellani , thing is manager cant buy players , its the Chief executive who needs to sign manager targets , and whole year is gone still Woodward hasn't learn any thing and is unable to sign LVG players .
Man utd is a huge brand if Glazers offer it to some sheikh or big billionaire offers will pour in

well i see the main reason why woodward aint signing those players is because the high wages that they are demanding..u see with no CL football this season, high profile players like vidal, di maria, benatia will be reluctant to join united this season..we cant offer them CL football and in return they demand high wages, thats where the deal is killed..sure united can splash 70-80m on a player as a club fee but agreeing more than 200,000 pounds wages per week is insane cause they cant offer everyone wage bracket close to rooneys...let me ask u united fans who r dying for transfers, who was the high profile player fergie signed except for rvp, berba and veron?...united always signs "POTENTIAL" players and convert them into world class players, prime example ronaldo, rooney...fergie was winning with the same midfield we have today, provided an upgrade with fellani herrera kagawa..now u people understand how incredible manager sir alex was..if fergie can win titles with a shit squad like this then i bet LVG can clinch 4th spot with this team...reason why we lost to swansea is the new style of play and formation united is playing and it will take time for players to understand it..LVG converted bastian schweinsteiger, an avg winger at bayern into a world class CM and convert ALABA who was an avg CM into world class RB..give LVG sometime to implement his philosophy and im sure it will work out...and dont keep ur hopes high on transfers cause the only signings i see coming are Rojo and Blind..

Over the past 2 decades, United have almost always had an experienced Back 4.... atleast one player in the Back 4 was a reliable, proven defender..... Right now, that's the area where i find the most issues.... Jones, Smalling, Evans and Blackett are the only defenders we have, and all of them (i dont know about Blackett since he's new), are extremely injury prone.... even with all of them playing together, our back 4 is incredibly weak as there is no leadership....

Sigh. I've resigned myself to another season of disaster. No lessons were learnt from the last campaign. I know we aren't in the best position to negotiate transfer fees and wages, but money talks. And Ed Woodward talks too much.
