I haven't seen much of Anwar Ali but his stats are impressive and his time will come soon I'm sure. He needs to perform on a consistent basis to be considered for selection though .
The video Majawar quoted is the final of the U-19 WC in SL which we won by defeating India. Our bowlers successfully defended a target of 110 on the back of some eye popping bowling by Anwar Ali 8)

Ok so I have been wondering, do we really need separate threads for each series OR will this thread suffice for all match-related discussions ? What do you guys say?

i think anwar ali played in domestic t20 recectly...good bowler but he has to perform xtra ordinary to make his place in paki team...aise aur bohat se player hain jin ki team mein jaga banti hai but our cricket board is blind....they add player like fawad alam yukh yukh bakwas player...i wish pakistan win today..

SA is coming after a destructive performance in ZIM. Pakistan have to work hard for victory today....Well my call would be Pakistan as its T20 and we have seen how excellent our team can play this format from Faisal Bank T20 Cup, but again cricket in Domestic is totally different from Int. All I want is that deserving players should play today in order to defeat SA...

Thanks. It's actually a relief there's no Akmal on this tour. That guy took his place for granted in every format.There's no doubt he's an integral part of the team(as a batsmen) but a break will give him time to think over his strategy for the future

On today's match, Saffers have a bunch of explosive batsmen in their side. Bosman,De Villiers,Smith,Duminy and Morkel are all clean hitters of the ball. They have the upper hand imo

But a LOT will depend on our bowlers especially the spinners. Afridi and co. need to pull themselves together. They're starting to get predictable <_<

Match starts at 9pm PST.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat firs ....As everyone know SA's bating isn't good infront of spinners so spinners will play a major role today...

Fazol mein har gae...And let me remind there were some wrong decisions by Umpire during SA bating....BTW SA was good in field and also with the ball....Now lets hope good for tomorrow's match....

@Squad: Shahzaib need some time to adjust at Int. cricketing level....I think he should be rested and where the heck is Imran Nazir ... Moreover Razzaq was just a burden on team cause he wasn't able to do anything in both innings. Also remove Misbah from the squad and add Asad Shafiq in it......But who'll play instead of Shahzaib no other top order batsman is there (Kamran Akmal would have fixed this spot easily )

our batting just collasped and its our main concern anyways the possitive point is that a vetren named shoaib akhter aka pindi express is bolwing quite well afridi blowing is a bit of concerned but the match was good though ,lets hope good for remaining matches.
