Inverter AC worth it , need experiences remarks
since the market is flooded with many inverter companies now. it have become harder to choose the right now. As considering price, along with quality is must but the most thing is which will last longer and how much we will actually save compare to our conventional AC. sure they say this much cash, but the real comparison is how much units is saved on the same amount of time used, or how much more hours used to get the same units as before.
sure we have local assembly brand from Gree, Orient, kenwood. then we have china build Green Air (same company as Ascon) , midea a/c (same orient company), then we have import from Taiwan, Malaysia , Lg, Hitachi, Sharp.
listening and watching Ad on tv is all crap as few shop owner said so too. about 80watts. that means i should throw all my fans and install ac since it will use 80 watts only.
this must i know that they will be saving around 30-50%. i know i need to run it longer to save money.
question to all this, i am looking for 1.5 ton split inverter AC, going to remove my regular AC in place of it;
normally my room is good enough for me to sleep once i run AC for 2 hours before i sleep, then fan does the rest.
how much running in hours to get same units compare to convential AC?
how much running needed to start saving?
If i run for 3 hours will the saving be implied or i need to run for 5-8 hours to see the saving.
Which brand is cause of cost, running, saving, n lasting.
do we need stabilizer for it and if yes how much watts.
how many 1.5 ton inverter can run on 6kv gas gen. (right now i run one only)

inverters are bakwas tbh as the above post mentions... we have 1 hour on and 1 hour off mostly so i would never recommend that to anyone... i simply love gree and haier as their parts are good and they are much cheaper than mitsubishi(they use mitsubishi compressors)... i have no idea about lg/samsung stuff though... anyone with a big room and thinking of going for a 1.5 ton a.c... don't... get a 2 ton split if you room requires it(especially if it too big for 1.5 ton and you have thin single walls) as the compressor size of a 2 ton is normally same as that one of 1.5 and the electricity use is almost equal...
Today I went to market, Pel was not available anywhere. They are recommending Gree or Haier.
Which one should I go for among two then. I have a good history with pel and Haier American made

20 percent saver (5.3amp 37500) and Long throw (5.1 42.5k).
This is for small room so going for 12000btu

I have extremly great experience of Hitachi Splits installed in my office. Highly recommended if anyone is planning for imported stuff else checked latest Kenwood series at Metro Karachi and found them attractive and euqually good compared to Gree and other local brands.
i am using 1 ton mitsubishi mr slim ac for about 3 years still working perfectly and its also energy efficient i can it on 3kv china generator even on gas
p.s recently bought white lg 1,5 ton split ac in 51k for drawing room although its expensive but i really impressed by its cooling and design, Seems to be not energy efficient as the mitsubishi
Orient is No Go. I have bought Haier Long Throw last year 1 ton performace is outclass and Bill is lower than i expected. Highly recommended

Not all but some models of Haier are very energy efficient.
Orient ac are good in cooling but they all use same compressors only look is different and they draw more power.

Anyone have any idea about Ascon split inverter based why they are expensive among its other competitors ever higher than imported Mitsubishi etc etc....

My brother works in a company located at pretty hot area
All a.cs there trip down at peak temp except for acson inverter based. Maybe thats why.

the models of haier i have bought are very energy efficient... two of them are rated at 2000w(1.5tons) and can operate as low as 160V and a 2 ton one rated at 2700W... coming from windows a.c i think that one window a.c was equivalent to all 3... and their cooling is great even in rooms with sunlight allaround...
if you seriously looking for under one ton, 12000btu portable AC hyundai Honeywell or LG i can arrange for you, it will be new and imported
